obviously, i had finished packing for our flight out south west tomorrow if i found the time to read the thread i NEVER visited before - about the disk brakes. the reason i read it was b/c i wanted to UNDERSTAND the fairness of banning blutto.

what i learned was quite surprising and not reported by ANYONE here.

1. turns out, magnetico was a mod here under a different handle (his own admission still standing)
2. turns out, magnetico admitted banning blutto previously (i pass no judgement but relay a fact )
3. turns out, magnetico freely goes in multiple posts about the blutto former ban w/o being told by any mod (of course i talk of what i saw in public) that it was strictly off topic to do so. imo, sounds like bullying with the awareness his back was covered.
4. turns out, magnetico's biggest problem was that blutto thought his, magnetico's, incessant, multiple (and still well documented) contributions in the thread about the disk brakes might have been market biased. again, i pass no judgement as to whether that is true, but having in mind the enduring lordship of the thread by magnetico - he's by far the most prolific poster in 'his thread - it would be by no means an unreasonable assumption.
5. finally i saw the new mod king boonen getting involved in defending a former mod who just bullied the banned blutto. specifically, he calling those supporting the blutto view (aphro...) to fall in line. i saw none, i repeat NONE of the public warnings directed at magnetico who - no doubt - engaged into the personal jabs and personal bickering no less than his detractors (magnetico resorted to mental instability references etc) in a thread about forking disk brakes.

if i ever saw a more biased modding on this forum, this one would be among the tops...

again, i perfectly understand the dynamic (no single mod determines a ban)...btw, magnetico threw that very beat up phrase at the blutto face after he was banned some time in the past after an argument.

does not sound like the exemplary case for the new mod nor the magnetico dude. nor do i defend blutto.

just putting some details out for those who may want to consider them.

Are you saying the ban had something to do with Magnetico being a former mod? And by bias meaning KB somehow was influenced by this?

I wont comment on the specific case, but I will say that I think KB is strict but with excellent integrity and morale. If he even knew about magnetico former handle, I do not beleive that had any influence on the ban.

what's your belief is your sovereign business and right...what the the mod - any mod! - was supposed to review BEFORE injecting him/her self into the thread was obviously you chose (or could not) read. again, pls do so. i have not made any statements up everything was based on the actually (and still available) posts.

i understand... and all i said was you need to do your own home work to make up your own mind re, the specific banning of blutto. as opposed to your sovereign opinion about a mod...that is, you may consider reading the specific thread. it took me 20 minutes. i never did before !!!!...i provided plenty of references to get on with the task.. again, if you see any divergence in what i said, i'd be available (perhaps not immediately)

1.The name change was approved by the mods. Other people have tried mightily to accuse me of a sockpuppet. You should waste their time with that and report is as such, it would be much appreciated, and funny as hell.

2.He was one of the hardest to babysit when I was modding, apparently that hasn't changed. Admit, sure. Facts are facts.

3.Turns out Blutto's only real reason there was to troll. You didn't like my response to him, oh well. I'd do it all over again because he wasn't there to talk about disc brakes.

1. you were a mod who banned blutto before. a note: i said nothing about your change of handle legality -you did - which confirms your guilty complex. you should waste your own time on things that concern you but not me.
2. your facts are self serving as it was you who banned blutto and now trying to use the former ban as the laverage for the latest ban. that a low..but thanks anyway for being candid.
3. i did not express any opinion about your disk brakes. i really dont care. i said, pls read, your beef was with blutto personally, not his opinion about the disk brakes, and you left plenty of facts to prove you insulting him. specifically, as i said before, insulting his 'mental'. the fact is you should have received a warning for that clear insult. i dont see you did.
