L'Avenir is underway for the men for as well, and Nordhagen has beat Omrzel by 20 seconds and Tuckwell by 10 at this stage of the prologue.

Storm Ingebrigtsen with no time on PCS so far so either DNS or DNF perhaps. Nordhagen might have lost a strong team member already.

Silas Koech about to start, who has a name that looks like it should belong to a Kenyan distance runner and not a German cyclist.

It should be a great contest this year. A strong crop of young climbers.

One thing that I do find really poor is Denmark picking Simon Dalby for a 4th year in a row. It’s supposed to be a development showcase race and if you haven’t developed beyond the race after 2 years you really shouldn’t be getting selected again. Surely they have other younger riders more deserving of the place in the team.

Prologue is one thing but if there's actually no broadcast for the final and decisive stage they should just cancel this whole Tour de l'Avenir

Yeah, if nothing more, then a mounted camera at the finish line should at least be doable under all circumstances.

Schrettl is Astana-bound by the way, (apparently) great pickup and scouting from the team

true, he's ready to do a GT now but no chance as long as hes with UNOX, a team that pick one token danish rider for the tdf each year

Marvin Peters is a perfect 1970s cop movie name

I have to ask, does anybody know how or which metric is being used to round off times? I'm pretty sure numbers 0 to 4 are mathematically rounded off downward, while 5 to 9 is rounded off upward.

According to PCS, these are the times for GC:

while they should be (assuming PCS stage results are correct):

Turns out he did get a time after all. Must have changed bikes or something or had some other issue with transponder.
