Since his last win, Jonas Vingegaard has finished 2nd 12 times and 3rd 4 times. I don‘t believe this has ever happened before.

Since he didn't win the Tour, he is probably aiming for the most important rece:
"Most top tens without a win". But when he knows, he is that good, he put a challenge for himself - most TOP 5's without win.
So that's what he is aiming for.

Pogacar's best stage result in each Tour stage:

Stage 1: 3rd (in 2022' and 2023)
Stage 2: 2nd (21', 25)
Stage 3: 22nd (20')
Stage 4: 1st (24', 25')
Stage 5: 1st (21')
Stage 6: 1st (22, 23)
Stage 7: 1st (22, 25)
Stage 8: 3rd (22)
Stage 9: 1st (20)
Stage 10: 9th (25)
Stage 11: 2nd (24)
Stage 12: 1st (25)
Stage 13: 1st (25)
Stage 14: 1st (24)
Stage 15: 1st (20, 24)
Stage 16: 2nd (23)
Stage 17: 1st (21, 22)
Stage 18: 1st (21)
Stage 19: 1st (24)
Stage 20: 1st (20, 23, 24)
Stage 21: 1st (24)

The pattern is clear: You have to strike him at the very start, in particular on stage 3. From stage 11 on he is pretty good.

VISMA-LAB take notice.

Worth noting: 21 stages total. 3 wins on stage 20!

Never won any of the first 3 stages in the tour.hah. Never even podiumed stage 3 or 10 (LOL)! He's missing 7 stages from a complete set in the Tour.

Can someone do this for Cav?

It reads like "x player has scored in every minute of a football game apart from the 3rd minute".

It's just volume of wins + variance noise.
Well yeah, that's the point.

But the particular case of Cavendish once again illustrates that ASO hates it's viewers as Cavendish should have no business winning stages in the weekends, especially not the 2nd or 3rd weekend.

TBF, the 3rd weekend usually includes the Paris stage, which - until this year - has been exactly the kind of stage Cavendish was pretty good at winning.

Last year, of course, there was no Paris stage.

Marianne Vos has never done it on a cold, rainy night in Stoke. But she is the only cyclist to have ever done it in a world tour race in Stoke.

Poland was very consistent in Poland.
