I can inform you that Patrick Eddy has now infiltrated this cluster and is fourth last, so now only 6 of the bottom 7 are from the 2025 Giro.

(and yes, the primary reason for bringing this up again was to give you a headache)
I spent multiple minutes reading the original post and I still have no idea what this statistic means

Superman and Ayuso winning white jerseys after their best-ever GT result when that result is only 3rd is wild. Bonus points to Superman for having multiple best-ever results prior to his final white jersey, and to Ayuso for winning his first white jersey after his sole GT podium.

Mythical Superman. A maverick!

Pogacar can equal Fausto Coppi with five wins in the Giro di Lombardia. Moreover he would be the first with five consecutive wins in a monument. Which other riders have won the same professional road race five or more times in a row?
  • Miguel Indurain: 5x Tour de France
  • Roger De Vlaeminck: 6x Tirreno-Adriatico
  • Sean Kelly: 7x Paris-Nice

If we include national championships the records of consecutive wins are even higher.
  • Tony Martin: 8x German Time Trial Championship
  • Nicolas Frantz: 12x Luxembourgish Road Race Championship

And here are some women with a lot of consecutive wins:
  • Anna van der Breggen: 7x Flèche Wallone
  • Jeannie Longo: 11x French Road Race Championship
  • Christine Majerus: 16x Luxembourgish Time Trial Championship
There are probably more examples.
