We don't need to solve all problems, just a couple of problems. We don't even need to end all doping, frankly, just much of it, or the most egregious.

Have you been following the "dirtiest cheater" thread? Start here and chime in, why don'tcha?

You cannot solve this problem. Catching just a few egregious cases or the guys everyone loves to hate is the charade. What does it matter if those gaining 15% are caught while the rest are gaining 5%, which is more than the natural variation between elites?

I am not inclined to any more than drive-by posting here because of the ridiculously bad moderation here, so I don't think i will take you up on that. I am already over my monthly allotment. But I will leave with a fun question: What did the UCI tell Michael Ball when he wanted a Pro Continental licence?

What is the sound of one hand clapping? I have no idea. Please share.

Also, I've been back for a couple of months and the moderation seems okay to me.

I do agree that the ADAs are part of the problem. But there are or were good guys. Kimmage, Bassons, and a few others.

But yep, doping is unstoppable and the point of sport is to make money and the athletes are expendable in every possible way, even their lives.

You need to acknowledge that the system was designed so NADO's had no authority. At least USADA, gifted with the Armstrong situation that no one in the IOC would ever imagine happen, did something.

This is quite unlike UKAD, recently revealed as a doping enabler. I can't recall the situation but Rasmussen complained his NADO was rewriting history in some report they published.

UKAD get much of their budget and some of their best gigs from Lottery funding.
