tomorrow's stage finish looks very interesting.

reminds me of LBL. wont mind another 3rd if Sagan is 7 seconds behind him ;)

More like Fleche Vallone. Valverde and Purito territory.

Kwiatkowski is looking good and even GC top10 seems possible. I hope he won't lose too much in the mountains (especially in the third week his form may drop).

He's wasting lots of energy these days. It will likely cost in the end.

Or he just knows he is not a GC contender yet and wants to animate the race, go for a stage win, work hard for a team to win a stage?
I think next 2-3 years its still about getting experience/adjusting training, etc. more than going for GC

By the way, what do you guys think his ceiling is? Valverde with much better TT?

with a stage win in pocket, i think he will ride well for the rest of the tour.

but tomorrow is a stage for him to win. he just has to compete with valv.

Hmm, don't think that approach is best for learning how to be a GC contender. Anyway I think he wants to be a contender here, but might not be comfortable with leadership just yet.

i think u get this wrong.

Kwiato will target all medium stages.
in the high mountains, he will be defensive.
thts the way he is, right now.

if he goes to Colombia and trains with Uran, he might improve a bit in bigger mountains after 2-3 yrs.

Also, conserving energy is not part of the team DNA yet.

He tried to follow Sagan on the final climb but didn't have the punch. I still think he will falter because he expends too much energy after being, by own admission, overtrained (and I think overraced too).

Is it just me or is he slowly getting the same treatment as Sagan? Everybody chasing him, nobody cooperating (look stage 10)......
I dont get the feeling that he is an ******* so maybe thats not the reason for it. Its just a riders with this specific skillset are hunted more. Kind of hard to get wins without clear specialization when you are very good in everything but not top notch in one specific skill

Nibali. In everything :D
and Kittel of course

honorable place Gallopin

Well yeah, if you consider just 3 riders to be good in a race after 11 stages....
He got couple podium spots, animated the race, tried attacking for a stage win (basically setting up Gallopin). Did a monster leadout for Trentin for a stage win. I would call that pretty damn good. Just have to lessen your expectations a bit I guess.

Kwiato would like to start in Tour de Pologne, because it's passing his childhood sites around Toruń. He was also present at Tour de Pologne conference, where with Lang they're assuring press and public about his start.

Obviously he is a big marketing power for cycling in Poland and his presence draws big attention. That's the reason why he's unclear/unsure about his start. We've got the same story last year.

He's speaking about his long and tyring season a lot, so I'd say that he won't start or abandon after stage in Toruń.
