Lots of people are sick these days in Spain, the flu is hitting very hard.

I dont use to get the flu, but I had it last week, and I am still quite sick.

If he start at Strade bianche, it is not the best race for him, but one of the best I like more to see him.

Debuts for sky at the Strade Bianchi.

BIANCHE BIANCHE please, please. with an E

I´d never trust the provisional start lists until the teamsky website posts it (and they are always sooo late, they wait 4/5 days before)
anyway, he´d be there in Italy anyway since he rides Tirreno from the next wednesday
on procyclingstats he´s on the list

Roche is on the list for Strade Bianche too (but he is also listed for Paris-Nice the day after... catch a flight after the race and fly to Paris...)

Did Paterski not race MSR and then the next day in Catalunya win a stage from that great breakaway with Rolland?

Imagine Strade Bianche is just to get racing miles in the legs. Maybe the same for Roche as his form is way off after hospital stays....

Not a good race for getting the racing miles in my opinion...

If he is going to ride Tirreno and Giro, yes, He has not much more options. It is not the best to tart for him, but he will be happy to rode there. Patxi Vila was a climber and he loved to ride this race, and quite good.

Worth mentioning that Paris-Nice starts with a prologue on the first day so maybe a few riders will do Strade Bianche and then fly over to France. Not ideal though.

Probably he'll ride Strade Bianche to taste the sterrato in perspective of the stage of Arezzo at the Giro
Well, he already 'tasted' the sterrato last year, didn't he.

Ah,I did not know.
I watched the race, but i did not remember he was there

The summary of the Giro, Landa the best in the mountains and Contador at Hesjedal wheel saving his Giro.

For Landa sterrato is a problem, but not important, the problem is that the climbs are short, so more for powerfull people. Anyway he is there to help Nordaugh and Poles to win and to get competition rythm., so it doenst matter.

Didn't Sean Kelly used to ride (and win) Paris Roubaix and then fly to Spain and start the Vuelta straight away
Those were the days !!!
