Looked like they mostly did. They were all on their knees.I wanted him to win least out of the 4. However, if 3 of the best time trailers in the world can't see its in their interests to work together, they don't deserve ***.

Pogacar was a true pancake today. Did not want to pull with the others and deservedly lost the podium.
3-1 in monuments. These are races that matters the mostYeah...that was true last year for sure... <rolleyes>
Well Pippo was dong all he could on the descend. Pog was in the wheel not wanting to pull. WvA gave it his all on the descend to catch MvdP. On the flat Pog took 2-3 veeery soft 1sec pulls and destroyed the impetus in the chase. So, well deserved for all the podium finishers and also well deserved for the one who is not on the podium. Congrats to MvdP, great ride.I mean, Ganna also didn't do too many proper pulls, that has to be said.
Nice one for Pippo, now I wanna see him in G-W and Paris-Roubaix. Dare I say that Pidcock not racing this one after his Tirreno crash was good for him, since the team didn't have him work for anyone?
Insert "ReMcO would have won" meme here.
Great tactics of Belgian Pozzato to lose the race and maintain his reputation

Can we even be sure Van Aert had the legs? He got washmachined hard in that hairpin where Wellens launched, but he really didn't close the gaps that easily. With his insane acceleration, he has the luxury that he can wait longer than others before he attacks. Superb use of Kragh, and then Pogi had to force it on the steepest spot. Given the legs he had, Van der Poel also rode really well here last year. He reads these finishes and understands his path to victory far better than Van Aert does.
isn't this race only about 30km interesting? so that fitsSo the longest race of the year was won by a guy who is World Champion in events of about 27km, followed by a guy who gets his most important wins in 4km competitions, followed by another whose forte is in races of no more than an hour.
Tell me again about how the sport is getting more specialised?
Wout lost some fitness when he was ill. There's still much time before the ones that really matter, so we'll see you in April. But yeah VdP finally wins one Wout already won.3-1 in monuments. These are races that matters the most
IMO he looked the weakest of the top 4 on the Poggio. Can we even be sure Van Aert had the legs? He got washmachined hard in that hairpin where Wellens launched, but he really didn't close the gaps that easily.
Yeah, he clearly lost because of tactics![]()
It is not a hate comment. Sure, I do not like him winning all the time, so I am happy he did not win today. But the truth is he looked weak today by his standards, which also makes me happy.Lol. Such a blatant hate comment. Not surprised if this is an alt account.
Let's not pretend MSR doesn't matter. This is a huge blow to WVA after the loss in cyclocross WCWout lost some fitness when he was ill. There's still much time before the ones that really matter, so we'll see you in April. But yeah VdP finally wins one Wout already won.
