They didnt have their best day but Pog still finished third in the sprint. Getting everything right team-wise in the build-up, selection, key moments like the run-in to Cipressa and so on. Getting everything right will be super-hard as other teams has their own objectives and stars, but I hope they dont stop trying!

This race is just so chaotic and why it is so hard to win. It can be so frustrating and crazy at the same time. I love this race.

That was the most exciting finish to MSR in years.

Some people just want to see their favorite riders storm off into the distance & solo for victory. I much, much prefer the suspense we just witnessed.

I think they decided that if Philipsen is close he’ll ride for him. He had his chance on the poggio and if there was a gap in the descent

I already doubted Mads Pedersen before this race, but if he can't win or even podium with a lead out, then it will definitely be hard for him to ever win here.
