He didn't have to deviate that much lol. He was moving naturally to his left but he then moved back to make way for Philipsen.

Organisers might have relegated him anyway to have Pog win tho
"He was moving naturally to his left", what does that even mean, lol? So because he had to overtake Stuyven on the left, he has carte blanche to continue diagonally all the way across the road?

Well, he went off the road in the TdF in 2022, and in 2023 TdF ITT Jonas put big time on his last year taking the downhill corners much faster.
Two moments were the race was fully on and risks were taken.

Context is needed.

And comparing him to someone who is really great at to say he is bad, is not a very good thing to either.

Either way, he is not one of the worst at it or "bad". I would say he is good at it... while guys like Pidcock, Mohoric and so on are really GREAT at it.

Teddy saying it wasn't hard enough for him to win...this is getting farcical...
How so? I think this is a dig at part of his team, and rightfully so. Ulissi and Hirschi stole money today.

Del Toro and Wellens were superb, they just had to do too much for obvious reasons. Covi and Novak did their job as asked. Even more, because Covi never should have led for a second on Cipressa.

I wonder what the strategy could have been though other than making it hard which the team failed at. He couldn't drop the others on the short 8% section of Poggio, so set up and did an attack that actually gapped everyone bar MvdP. So tactically played well.

In order of team tactics - I wonder if knowing you have a weak team, driving it from 50km out was wise, or maybe they should have waited all along for Cipressa. But easy in hindsight.
The whole team was pinched into corners and out of position going into the cipressa. They had to go hot just to reconstitute. And the favorites just watched them racing back by them to get that position back. Too cooked too late to force a selection. If a guy like philipsen makes it past those efforts it wasn’t good enough to say the least

I don't think anyone is saying he's overrated, and no one is saying he's the worst.
