Congrats to MVP on the victory, this was truly a battle royale. He again proved to be Pogacar's kryptonite here.
But what a performance by UAE and Pogacar, they (just 3 of them) basically made Cipressa look like a proper climb and caused carnage. Pogi's super strong this year. But he couldn't drop MVP and had a poor sprint at the end. Still, this looks to be a better tactic than waiting for Poggio.

UAE coaches are idiots. They are inept. I hope to eat my words but they need a calculator. It is better to attack with 40 riders than with 80 riders. IMHO. I just don't get it.

Pogacar usually wins on brute force. So He can afford to have bad strategies from the team. But not in this race.

And I hope I don't get insults from his fans here.
UAE: "The plan was to do the Cipressa very hard ..... like we have done in the previous editions when we lost..... so that Pogacar can go with Gana and MVP and lose, thanks"

I don't think so to be honest. Today, Pogi showed he will destroy MVP. He was on the limit.
