MVP wasn't on the limit, otherwise he wouldn't attack in the end of poggio.I don't think so to be honest. Today, Pogi showed he will destroy MVP. He was on the limit.

Vwpe just been on the phone with WVA himself who was watching the race with tears in his eyes begging Plugge to accept his retirement.LVL
4vwipe
Or maybe do something different...He needs MVDP to have a bad day or be absent from the race.
True that! Hard to say if Pog would have been able to solo to the bottom of the Poggio with a big enough time gap.Maybe. It was close though. Small margins in the end.
Made it a real and great race.
Ronde has no 8 min climbs like SanRemo. Better for MVdP to recover from more anaerobic efforts than efforts like Cipressa. This race is clearly favouring more MVP. Ronde has a lot more vertical meters.
Attack before the Cipressa? He's tried everything so far.Or maybe do something different...
Like to apologise for calling him Jhonny Ayuso and laughing at his cr*p Ecuadorian champions jersey.
One thing about Pogacar is that his strength makes every win against him all that much more meaningful. MSR has often been exciting but this has probably been the first edition since like 2013 to be genuinely epic.
We will have to wait but I'm pretty sure Pogi will cook MVP in Kwaremont.Ronde has no 8 min climbs like SanRemo. Better for MVdP to recover from more anaerobic efforts than efforts like Cipressa.
I never said attack. That would be suicide. But He needs to do the race harder. It is just plain impossible to win in the Poggio. It is just not possible for such a light rider. He was third last year and He is third this year. The race was just a bit more entertaining. He just needs to risk a little more. He cannot do the same thing every year and expect a different outcome.Attack before the Cipressa? He's tried everything so far.
Wrong position on Cipressa or legs. It was obvious Pogacar would show his hand on Cipressa when they entered the climp.I don't understand how Pidcock and Pederson were dropped so easily. It made things for MVP so easy!
I think he made this race pretty hard but MVDP was just better on the day.I never said attack. That would be suicide. But He needs to do the race harder. 🤠@scribers has to eat his hat too
Next year will be worse if they do it again. I believe there will be more riders prepared there. IMHO.there is one certainty for the next few years: the key will be Cipressa. Always attack there and then see who remains. Only mistake: too many attacks on Poggio. Next year they should be limited to a maximum of 2 in my opinion
I don't see many beating MVDP in The Ronde or P-R. Maybe Wout
