Does anyone know why Andrey Kashechkin haven't raced a single race yet during the 2011 season? I've looked for him the whole season, but as far as i can tell he hasn't started a single race for Lampre-ISD.

Does anybody have some information on this?

It's all a bit strange. He was getting progressively better last year and now he hasn't raced anything apart from Pais Vasco and is not on the start list for future races. He is not even doing Turkey to build up form.

Oh, and as i mentioned in the CQ thread Menchov also seems to be MIA after Catalunya but should hopefully reappear at Romandie if he wants to have any hopes of doing a good Giro.

Weird, i missed him in basque country, but yes, still a very weird season so far. Seems totally out of shape, maybe a injury?

If he's virtually not riding and he's not injured, he either has weird values and his team doesn't want to take any risks, or there's some serious conflict between him and his bosses.

He did Basque Country but withdrew.
He was doing the domestique work in stages 4 or 5 pulling the peloton and Cunego up at the begginning of the finish mountain.

He pushed it for about two kilometres at 6-7 % and then just pulled away. :(
