My big take away is how solid Jorgenson looks, Vingegaard doing some good stuff in France..with no Yates and Kuss missing in action, leaning towards UAE but Bora is also looking pretty solid.. Now for the big questions of pecking order, Del Toro is going with Tadej to TDF, what are other teams going to do? Will all the best skip the Giro?
Jonas is riding the Giro

Is this also a " cross race reference " is saying that MvdP is cyclocross world champion and also doing well in another race a double cross? I hope I can avoid XXX references.. Don't want that algorithm mixing with bike racing

Saying that 2 or more Visma riders are all doing well is a spoiler? If it is certainly wasn't meant to be, CN has posted results, well before I write my silliness..

In my defence, I read it just as much as a reference to today's action.
I absolutely think that 24ish hours should be more than enough for a "spoiler" period.

I am wondering were Narvaez, Wellens, Vine play into the UAE plan, it doesn't look like Del Toro and Christen are going to burn out, but how do you know..

I wish I knew French then I could say that Visma results are pretty much established, almost over, outcome is assumed throughout Europe.

So... tomorrow's stage too hard for MVDP? Coz... I'm starting to see a pattern here:

He'll break the pattern. Some nasty ramps on this final climb.

What the hell happened to Tiberi?
He was suffering on the back of the group, didn't look terrible, still turning over the pedals but couldn't keep speed ..just looked like he blew up.. Shame he had a bad day. He was a minute back yesterday now he is 10minutes back..

Disgraceful from Roglic. Could follow race leader team mate to the line but "pull" for 5 seconds. He should have absolutely bury himself to shave few seconds off from Pellizzari even if he ended up losing a minute himself.

Not disgraceful if it’s the way Bora decided to go about this race, i. e. co leaders with both having freedom. I also see problems with a strategy above having a rider who is in contention for GC “wait” for a teammate who is currently at top of GC. Risks the chance that they will both fall out of contention.

It was pretty clear both yesterday and today Roglic is actively trying to look out for Pellizzari. But when you're on the limit, you can't really just surge and pass someone on a steep gradient when that rider is also not waiting for you to pull.

Congratulations to Michael Valgren Hundahl for winning from a breakaway.

A bit of a setback for RBH, Giulio with some cramps and del Toro capitalising on that. Considering the advantage UAE now has in terms of seconds RBH can't leave the decision to the ultimate climb, Visma now in the mix too. Likely having somebody in the break and starting to crack del Toro on the penultimate climb on Camerino, hitting with a couple of exchanges by the RBH duo likely makes the most sense. The form for that seems to be there and Rogla rode smart so far, so lets see if RBH can take back control of this race. Fingers crossed!
