MLB getting tough? Bust a Manager!

First of all, Ron Washington being a minority has nothing to do with anything.

Second of all, MLB (and I just found this out recently) tests managers for cocaine but not players. Go figure that one out if you can.

MLB has been under pressure to promote more minority managers. That and the statistical decline of African-American players would seem to make such decisions politically tough for MLB. Considering many on these forums hold cycling to a high standard and deride American pro sports; this MLB discipline would seem to be a new and improved tact? They've also been testing and busting minor league players. While this isn't a wholesale house-cleaning, it seems to be a good start.
