Is Joachim perma banned? I would have assumed both of them(Hog & Joachim) would be given the same punishment unless there are other factors.

I was thinking much the same, although I wasn't around to witness how things must have escalated.
By the time left, I'd had noticed that the Hog was becoming increasingly frustrated and Joachim was already sailing perilously close to the wind.
Still, assuming the two of them were tangoing, a perma-ban does seem harsh and disproportionate to a relatively mild, one week slap on the wrist.
Perhaps Ferminal could clarify?
If not here, then by pm?

Isn't a reason code normally given for member suspensions?

Some sort of rational is usually, but not always supplied.
Indeed, banned is often used to qualify just as suspension.
Normally though, a complete ban does come with an explanation,
if indeed, this is a life ban.

i must say i smiled to see hoggie 'banned' after all he tried to get myself

banned for addressing them as 'hoggie' claiming 'cyber bullying'

yet was untroubled by other members doing likewise..........there you

go hoggie has always been inconsistent

Dunno whats with Hoggie recently - seems to have a bee in his bonnet over something.

Some of his posts on the Sky thread are condescending to the point of hilarious but he then loses it over the word "Hoggie" aimed at him.

Guess you missed the sarcasm. Or the forumstalking by some.

Hogster will be back in six nights of sleep, don't worry.

Ah well, who wants perfection.

Hogster is the clinicians big hero yes? Seems like he's the main man for you folks.

Considering how many grenades he throws, per day, failing to get out of the blast zone occasionally is hardly surprising.

His multiple Sky/Sky rider doping threads are lagging behind in posts to the main Sky thread started by somebody else, so he gets frustrated I reckon.

I think the Hog is the hero of the clinic 12, he is definitely not the clinic hero, not mine at least. I would say about half his post's are of interest and relevant. The rest is just lying, baiting and obvious trolling.

Various posts have been reported by various people (incl. me) in the Rasmussen/Rabo topic - hours ago! Can some mod maybe wake up?

I think it might be best if the thread I started,
End Professional Cycling - http://forum.cyclingnews.com/showthread.php?t=19903

be closed. It is not going to go anywhere good seeing Mrs John Murphy's BPC detector has got a little bit confused. I am clearly not BPC as was attested to in the thread by ram. Zam calling me Dr. H, short for Dr. Horrible, is also an indication of who I really am. Better to kill it off in my view.

Thank you
Dr. Horrible the Mad Elephant Man

It appears my wish has been granted.
Thank you to the moderator who closed the thread and to the rest of you, I am sure you would have done it too, so thank you to you as well.

MEM - given how the conversation had degenerated, fyi, I like your solution to request it be closed. Susan took care of it.

A mistake was made but we are forgetting that, but Mrs. John Murphy should know that his inbox is full.
Thank you again.

I would say half his posts are in the latter and the other half is him quoting those.

so is hoggie skirting around their ban posting as horsinaround

members i have spoken to agree that they are one and the same

( a twitter exchange confirmed but i have not seen )

i ask horsinaround and they deflect avoiding 'attention'

so back to an earlier question.................why is a 'popular' member like

hoggie dealt with more leniently than an 'unpopular' member such as

joachim?

You're accusing the moderators of knowingly allowing a banned member to hold a secondary, active account?

Any accounts which are circumventing a suspension/ban are banned on detection, with additional punishment faced if that person was on a temporary suspension.

just check where his ip is from. if he uses a proxy or different pc it could just be detected as well. everyone knows it's hoggie. more pathetic even than I thought. if you get banned just take it like I do all the time

The ip is significantly different. That's as far as I can tell since I'm not into the details. Anyway, as Ferminal suggested, you should not hint that mods would circumvent their own rules just for a well known user.
