Why some users are banned when calling others trolls or idiots while some others are not? Posts are reported but nothing happens.

I guess you've just been lucky, so far?

Don't you get it, the mods have a view, and if you don't agree with their views they call you a troll, they are bassically Benson's Borgs, the true problem lies with Benson, he allows what goes on here, which is why a certain clean rider called him unsupportive and refused him an interview.

Does Benson also force you to post on this forum or what? If its so bad, why dont you just go away?

There is a sky friendly forum just one click away.

Hmm, your the poster who set up a website and a poster name to troll one rider

You clearly do not understand what a troll is. Quelle surprise.

Your own admission is noted.

I think it is you who des not understand, to be fair about 75% of clinic posters are trolls, which is why those who disagree with them are called trolls, but I doubt your tin foil hat would allow you to understand any of the nuances of life, however you have found a place where those in control are on your side

Del does this every single time someone who took the sky side gets banned. Even in cases like this when its blatantly obvious the person deserved a massive ban. Encache was warned several times, we all saw it and continued to post. Yet out comes the usual tripe about the moderators picking on sky fans (even as Maserati sits on a perma ban, hog on a month ban and Bro deal has parted ways with the forum).

Surely the personal attacks on Daniel Benson are breaking some rules, if not the unsubstantiated accusations of moderator bias?

Do you work for that forum, or at least have some shares tied up there?

You seem to advertise them more often than durainrider does a vegetarian diet.

well, I didnt even mention it by name this time! and all my advertising is negative.. so it cant be that bad.

I dont think cyclingnews powers that be are gonna lose sleep at night if a couple of skybots leave the forum.

You really don't need to advertise, the juvenile standard of posting already does the job admirably.

I love the way how things are now presented as fact in the clinic even though they are very far from being facts. Forget about Froome or Wiggins, there are plenty more examples. I am talking about riders who are being touted as dopers without the slighest bit of evidence linking them to doping.

Someone posted about AG2R not being worried about signing dopers and then listed Mancebo, Valjavec and Pozzovivo as examples. Maybe I missed something but since when has Pozzovivo been in the same category as the other two. Did I miss a positive test or link to a dodgy doctory or something.

Again today, someone listed riders who had won on Arrate and someone responded that all they seen were cheats. Now some of the guys on the list have positive tests or dodgy connections but Xavier Tondo RIP was on that list, what are his links to doping??

I thought this place was supposed to have got stricter on calling riders dopers without the slightest bit of evidence to back it up, but if anything it seems to have got even slacker. Calling a rider a doper who has actual links with doping is fine with me but it has got way beyond that point now. There is simply no semblence of balance anymore.

I can only agree. Sometimes I cannot help but wonder whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty, last time I checked simply being quick wasn't a proof of doping.

The bit you mentioned about Tondo is especially stricking, as far as I know his only connection to doping was when he helped busting that doping-circle.

innocent until proven guilty might work if someone was truly policing the pro peloton but with testing a joke, why believe they are not doping. Plenty of evidence that doping is rife. Look at who enabled doping in the last few years, they haven't gone away.

Your everyone dopes line is the other end of the extreme though. It's as simplistic as saying everyone is clean.

On a percentage basis it is much more likely to be true though.

Nope. The culture of doping in the sport was and imo is still endemic. I have not seen any change in that. There is nothing to stop riders doping only their stupidity that they might fail a test. But since most teams do their own internal testing to ensure they dont pop, it is a no brainer. People want to believe the best in their athletes, but i look at the testing, that tells us how clean or dirty a sport is. The sport is full of people well versed in doping. Sorry Hitch no well worded prose needed to call a spade a spade!

Hi mods, have you read the Froome Talk Only thread (since Wednesday evening CEST)?

Or is everything just fine there, and as such can be used as standards as to what is acceptable all over the forum?
