Such a shame that the solution to a spammer is to punish everyone that is not a spammer. I guess changing then number, "30" to "60" is much easier coding wise than doing something proactive hey?

PS: You know a spambot is an automated piece of software, right? So all they need to do is change the corresponding "30" value of their "wait time" variable to "60" and CN's breathtakingly simplistic solution is once again circumvented?

How about stopping them at the gate instead of forcing them to wait 60 seconds before they burn another hut or rap- well you know.

Hasn't 60 seconds been the case for quite some time? At least from before the spam attacks, no? Or am I just confused? :/

In the same vein I'd like to see the 20 seconds wait between searches reduced to 10 seconds. When you use the 'New Posts' function, it's quite annoying (especially if you do some searches besides that as well).

Mods

2 of my posts, admittedly having a pop at The Sceptic, have been removed. Why? All I pointed out was that he and posters like him would claim this that and the other (as they do). Those posts seem to rarely get removed.

I, on the other hand, have had to put up with being accused of being someone I am not (and indeed now it seems so has someone else) - rarely (until lately) have they been removed. For me, I feel what is happening is not fair.

Please respond, either on here or by PM.
