I don't.

At the end of the day someone has to draw the line and it's up to the mods to do it.

They're the referees, they might not always be right but you have to do as they say.

I have one problem with warnings posted in threads and that's that a poster may not see it, other than that I'm fine with it.
I agree on this too.

you can still read the forum in your abscence

you did not give your opinion, you categorically stated:

Which is bordering on lying again as you can prove no such thing. You quite clearly stated you were banned because you defended Chris Froome:

when it has been clearly stated numerous times you were banned for ignoring a warning to stop clogging threads with wind direction and ITT times.

and to demonsatrate you read these, you quoted the actual ban:

Here is the warning:

I cant ignore a warning if I dont read that warning, send me a private If I dont answer, becouse I used to answer if I read.

if you ask to me thing that IMO dont ask to others, I think is censure, but I am not going to come back to that, that is the past and it is ok, no problem, I hope everybody enjoyed here.
When I got here first thing I did is to read the rules, and I was ok about them and I still think I dindt broke ant of them.

Taxus - sorry if you felt slighted. Quite obviously, at least one of the mods thinks you did go against the rules. Since I know for fact that he discussed the issue with other mods, I will say that there was some agreement that rules were violated.

Do us all a favor - try not to get angered on this issue. It is in the past. Getting angry will only make you dwell on perceived slights or insults. Doing this would not be productive. Work to make sure that future posts are within the limits. Try communicating directly with the mod who thinks you have violated the rules. (I know you have done this already, to an extent.) If you believe you are being misunderstood, contact a different mod.

But also remember, the mods are here for a reason. Ultimately, they ARE the judge of what is acceptable. We have rules in place to guide them - but they are still the final arbiter.

Really not sure if this is the right forum, but I figure Mods will see it... so why not.

I don't understand why the rule about having your forum name refer to doping is in anyway a big deal, when one of the main attractions to this forum is The Clinic. It strikes me as odd that people in The Clinic can find a rider guilty of doping, or several riders, yet having a reference to it in your name is a big deal. It obviously doesn't affect me at all, nor do I even care. I'm simply curious.

The problem with it is that your name would be visible not only in the Clinic, but in all the other sections, especially in the PRR where clinic-related references are forbidden.
The rule is just in order to avoid this kind of nonsense where a user cannot post in PRR because his name is a clinic reference.

Sort of understandable. Bit silly!

This was instituted in another era. If you will remember, it was only a few years ago when the number of people believing LA doped were in the minority, and many people found the allegations offensive, and pointless. Things have changed a lot. The enforcement of that rule has also fallen by the wayside somewhat, and I imagine you can find examples of same. If a name is deemed offensive, then we do something. Because, as Eshnar points out - it can get to be a lot of nonsense clogging up the threads.

what about signatures that are explicit doping drivels showing up in other forums than Clinic
If it's an explicit doping accusation, it is not allowed.
For example I can't put into my sig "The rider X is a doper"
But if the sig is just talking generally about doping (not accusing anyone) is often tolerated.

So you can post obvious doping topics in the PRR forum and just leave it for a mod to move? Good to know.
