I don't care. Report it instead of spamming threads with accusations. You know, as by the rules. Moreover, that still leaves 10% of posters falsely accused. More of course, as 90% is an hyperbolic number.

As a former mod and someone who does report them and doesn't call people out in threads, generally, I would say IMO the 90% number is conservative. Quite conservative.

I was actually stunned as a mod how good the members are at spotting them, and how quickly.

That said, the best path is to do as you say and report them, as well as adding the rationale for why you think someone is a sock puppet. No question.

Now you are just moving the goalposts. You said it was bullying to point out a sockpuppet is a sockpuppet, which brought my response.

It is not. People get outed as sockpuppets when they behave as sockpuppets.

That means turning up in the immediate aftermath of a poster being banned and posting in the exact same manner as that just banned poster. Turning up and immediately posting 50 x a day but only in the most controversial sections of the forum.

A simple look at the history of the forum will show that any sockpuppet that makes even the smallest modicule of effort and takes a few months to establish a false identity avoids getting called a sockpuppet (see statue)

Anyone so lazy that they can't be bothered to even do that, reaps what they sow.

I'm insulted by a 24 hour ban from events for abuse! I'M SHOCKED!! I can assure you that I have never in no way shape or form ever done any such thing! I am here from 2 years of playing VR Bingo and I'm a well loved person there. I'm 61 years old... I'm loving, caring and generous person, always looking out for the well being of others... This has to be looked into, and corrected... PLEASE!! I do not care to have any such bad mark against my account here. I'm just a few years into this forum actively, and I've brought with me many friends...
I hope this matter will be looked into and corrected promptly, because I assure you I will not accept anything less, I'm sorry, maybe I'm over-reacting, but these are my feelings, and they are real... I'll be making further complaints...

I mean everyday I get more and more staggered by some people on this forum. Censorship is very low and classless but some here are PROUD to be censors and reporters. It's just, I don't know how to describe this kind of attitude. It's beyond insolence. Surely these folks would have denounced Jews in 1942 ...

Cheers fella, I do float around a bit and I'm more active during racing. I've avoided the clinic as it's the same old arguments and I find myself slap bang in the middle of the two camps, thinking they are all probably doping but wanting more concrete evidence to discuss. I much preferred the more scientific discussions with Dear Wiggo et. al. but it seems none are really popping up at the moment.


I've also moved jobs, bought a road bike and joined a club so I'm spending much more of my time out on freezing cold Scottish roads and destroying my legs on a turbo (rollers were a mistake for me) than before

And also, where is echoes freedom of speech when it comes to the tour de France. Anyone who starts a thread about that race gets greeted with a torrent of abuse about being uneducated, stupid, not a real fan and worse. Seems he picks and chooses what people are allowed to say and aren't.

What I thought the most telling bit was when echoes said that in his warped world view the kid who informs the supervisor is the bully. Not out of character with previous posts of his which confirm that in his Ayn Rand utopia, there is nothing wrong with mistreating or bullying people, it's only informing the authorities that's bad.

I also found it rich that someone who just last week got away with posting a happy face and the words "I don't care" in response to the terrorist attack on Sydney, is complaining about the lack of free speech.
