Boomcie, As you can see, I have edited your post above and I will go back into your recently created ignore list thread and do the same.

Dragging someone's name into a thread that has nothing to do with them is pretty childish but changing their name into insults at the same time is clearly baiting that person to respond. This has been discussed many times here and it is not acceptable.

No justice for your uncalled for personal attacks out of nowhere all the time.
Even since I don't respond to your posts anymore you keep doing that.

lololol. That's how you see it. Safe flight back to Never Never Land!

Jezus Martin, don't be such a hypocrite... You were very present in that thread and didn't seem to have any problem with it at the time. Now all of the sudden a harmless name change needs to be censored. Who's being childish now?

Maybe you should censor all the posts I did in the last few months cause many of them contained D_T "insults" (some subliminal ones as well).

Edit: Let me add to this that I regret you having to censor everything in the ignore thread. That looks like a terrible job. Sorry for that.

I freely admit that I was enjoying myself posting in that thread and had not noticed that you were reworking D_T's name to insult him. I have fixed that in your posts in that thread. I hardly see how my behaviour in that regard would be called childish - negligent possibly, but not childish. You will note however that your repeated references to D_T has resulted in others joining your "ignore" thread and beginning to turn it into a "bash D_T" thread.

6. No insulting other members. This includes counter-insults ("he started it").

11. Blatant lying, baiting, or teasing other members will not be tolerated.

I am not going to wade through your posting history to retrospectively edit posts in dead conversations. However, now that you are more fully aware of the rules that have existed and been published for quite some time, I would expect that future posts cease to do this.

Yes, many, and I was tired of them in the end. Because half of the them you dropped your 'jokes' out of nowhere.

Dek I find your avatar offensive.

Yeah, I actually do find it offensive and would like to lodge a formal complaint.

Could the mods please take care of Dekker_Tifosi's avatar, because it's been causing me distress for a while now.

I think we can all agree upon the simple fact that the avatar shows a person making an offensive gesture.

I have been trying to get used to the avatar for a while now, but recent events have brought my resistance level way down.

I would like to be taken seriously.
Thank you very much.

...

Yet no rules for mods...

where fanning, derailing and ignoring, are OK. The double standard is still in force, way to go!

There should be a rule about that...

Wasn't Boeing making a joke since his avatar is of Johnny Cash making self-same provocative gesture?

Hi guys, thanks for the support.

Glad to be back. Currently posting from inside Tate Modern, London. Great Gerard Richter exposition.

@the mods: are you taking my request regarding D_T's avatar serious? Cause I'm pretty serious about it. I've seen pictures removed from these boards that were less offensive.

Please explain to me why it isn't offensive, because I'm getting confused.

Please note that I have ceized all insults.

Lol. What a joke Susan. My granny and I have discussed the same subject and have decided it is hypocritical. You can't expect people to respect the rules of you don't enforce them unambiguously.

So i guess my **** you avatar will not be allowed then?

What a pitiful display... This creates a very dangerous precedent.

You and your granny are not in positions of authority at this forum.

Those two avatars will be allowed to stay. No doubt this will encourage some users to try and push the limits, as usual, so the mods will keep their eye out for any new avatars which go too far.

You say you have "ceized all insults" (sic) - strange then how you object to the avatar (although you don't explain why it 'offends' you) of one named poster and do not mention the name of another poster that by your standards would have an equally 'offensive' avatar?

Doc's got a point there.

Why cant you guys just settle this somewhere nice, romantic dinner by the coast? Some nice mussels and a good glass of wine? All jokes aside, just talk it out or both ignore each other.

what is your complaint? that I admitted taking a few posts to notice something? That I admitted making a few jokes that were ENTIRELY on topic in a thread full of similar jokes? That I dealt appropriately with a breach of rules when it was reported? :D

In any event, if you have an actual complaint about a specific post then use the facility that exists for you to do so (the report to moderator function) and it WILL be dealt with (if its valid).

I'd never even seen Boeing's avatar. But yes, naturally by extension it would have to go. I'll be Don Quixote if I have to.

Both avatars are offensive because they show a person making an offensive gesture. It's not even relevant whether they are offensive to me personally or not. It's all about double standards. Martin sent me a pm stating that the avatar(s) can remain as they are, because the mods have not received a complaint about them for long time. I say that is total bull. Tifosi didn't complain about my behavior for months either, don't see how that somehow makes it any less offensive.

@Havetts. Sorry Bro if i bother you, but I don't see how you are forced to read my posts here.

Signed,
The Don Quixote of double standards.
