And a fourth place on GC.

They did better in their debut race than I expected.
They rode very well, not pull back power of bigger teams but they were in the mix, after a few years they will have enough depth to chase stuff down. Big George must really have some scouting in South Africa. Pleasant surprise for sure.

The kit looked fantastic in the Arabian desert. Far too many variations of blue/green jerseys in the peloton that are hard to pick out so having one so different to everyone else really helps their sponsors visibility as well.

George need to teach the boys about xwind racing. Horrible performance today in Costa Caldia. Not a single of the 7 riders in the top 80!

Fantastic showing in every way for Modern Adventure at UAE tour, riders in the mix on both flat and climbing stages, Mark Stewart getting a solid sprint 11th against monster Milan. Byron Munton in decent 15th spot at 2 minutes off the lead..these guys are showing up at WT level, not just pack fill.

Looks like Munton picked up a place today at the UAE and will finish a solid 14th tomorrow for 25 UCI points.

They have chances to surprise in March as well:

In the races I've watched so far this season, the commentators seem to take special note of them.
I watched a rebroadcast of a couple of races and I was watching UAE , Modern Adventure is doing everything I love about Australian national team, they get in the mix, get in the way of the camera. Really exciting to see them racing as good or better than many established teams. Hindcappie said that team ethos is to always have @50+% American riders at all times. Team is going well.

They've been quiet lately.
They've been carried hard by their Southern Hemisphere riders.

But I think most teams who haven't done P-N or T-A have been quiet lately. :D

Scott McGill almost won a stage in Istria, Oliver did about as well as they could have hoped for in the Belgian races. Pickrell just isn't durable enough for that kind of stuff. Not sure why they aren't putting him in the Koksijde line-up. Should be his best chance out of those races.
