With some of the comments Lance and Johan have come out with, there is a reasonable arguement for thinking there mental age is of an 8 to 12 year old.

Ditto, McQuad took an early lead and looked to be romping home, then Lance made up some ground in July. By September it was a three horse race with contador neck and neck with the other two after his meaty meal, but nobody banked on just how much ground Chris White could make up. Spectacular catch up job he has done.

2nd of all there is a point behind it. If you are going to call LAnce a moron, then there are a lot of cyclists who fit the bill. My point was, if we define moron as someone with the mental ability of a 8 -12 year old, and you see Armstrong as meeting the requirments, then i dont see why we cant say the same of Cadel Evans, or in fact a lot of other cyclists.

Is lying a sign of being a moron? I can think of many ivy league politicians who lied. If Lance is a moron for things he said, then Cav is a moron for his 2 finger salute, Evans is a moron for fighting on the bike etc.

What about Davis and Sagan for "winning" from the 2nd group on the road?

I think it's close between Pat and Chris White, but we have to give it to Pat for his consistent effort right from the word go in January and managing to peak twice - in May and October.

Can someone enlighten me on what this guy did? I haven't followed the story behind the apparent demise of Pegasus.

As for who the biggest moron is, I say in the interests of fair sport we name the trophy the Pat McQuaid award and hand it out annually to the second biggest moron of the year.

Chris White is definitely in the running but I went for David Harmon as he ruins most bike races I watch on eurosport and is blatantly plugging his own sponsors during the programs.

Plus he can't even finish one of his daft tandem record challenges, let alone set the records. I hate him.
