It's the last week before the end of the year, which means the Top2000 is on in the Netherlands. People can vote on a large number of songs they want to make the list. Then, in the last week before the end of the year, they play all 2000 songs in reverse order, ending exactly at the end of the year. Few things are as special as entering a new year whilst singing Bohemian Rhapsody drunkly with a large group of people.

Fun fact: more people voted for the Top2000 this year than for the last general elections.
