My apologies, but this song just reflects that not much has been done by the oligarchs or the politicians to help the working class in the former "Soviet bloc" .
There's not much slowcore music that celebrates positive change.
Touché.

I'm just coming from the former "eastern bloc" viewpoint where things were supposed to get better after the fall of the Berlin Wall. For a lot of people, unfortunately, not much has gotten much better.

YMMV, of course, in terms of your interpretation of the song.

Phantastic Ferniture: F*ckin 'n' Rollin (re-recorded and new video)

Tom has left the band 'for reasons unexplained' (to quote from
Tweeter and the Monkey Man), so Julia, Liz and Ryan have
re-recorded their cult classic for a very much anticipated
album to be released in July with a Brisbane, Adelaide,
Melbourne, Sydney album launch tour during August.

Ya, you can take the girls out of Glebe, but you
can't take Glebe out of the girls. So they say.

Perhaps the lyrics in this song explain Tom's departure. Is it just a
coincidence that he posted it to YouTube only two days after the
Ferns posted their new "Tom-less" F@ckin 'n' Rollin video? :surprised:
