Yeah, those metal bands don't draw the women. They draw a huge interest from guys. Back in the 80's, I went to a couple of Metallica & Slayer concerts, and it was dudesville - so nothing has changed. Lol.I like the performance, but check out how few women are in the audience. That whole stadium is one gigantic man cave! lol
Or for the females, when he married Dorothea in 1989.Do you remember where you were when Jon Bon Jovi cut his hair?
Some musicians, like Willie Nelson, have an iconic hair look even when they grow old. But the rest, well, they might as well do a 70s comb-over with what they've got going on.
Def Leppard and Bon Jovi both drew and still do the ladies. To think Def Leppard helped pave the way for Bon Jovi while Bon Jovi did it for so many other bands. I’ve been to one Def Leppard concert when they had their Hard Rock residency, want to see them again but they’ve been coming to Vegas less and less. Saw Bon Jovi 3 times, all after Sambora left. They’re both the few musicians I’ll look up a live version of the song, and only I’ll search the full performance. Stinks they’ve only performed or cameoed the others performance one time when Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora joined DL for a song.Yeah, those metal bands don't draw the women. Conversely, one of the top hair bands ever was Def Leppard. They drew women like crazy. I went to one of their concerts back in 1988 at the old McNichols sports arena in Denver (Hysteria Tour). I was dating a girl at the time who was in lust with Joe Elliot. Lol. I've never seen so many women in my life - over half the capacity was women!
Here's an actual video of that very concert I was at! Excellent band: Phil Collen is one most underrated guitar players. And what can you say about Rick Allen playing the drums with only one arm:

Here they are 35 yrs later with the performance of the same song. Still 4 out of the 5 original band members:

I remember when Pyromania first came out in the early 80s, Def Leppard just became huuuuuuuge! My classmates and I (I was in junior high) were just nuts about them. And I had a crush myself, but not on Joe Elliott but on Steve Clark.Yeah, those metal bands don't draw the women. They draw a huge interest from guys.
