I'm listening to the new Robin Guthrie album, Emeralds, for the first time. There's obviously some pretty stuff here, like "Digging for Gold" and "Flower". I'm a big admirer of the dreamy sounds he can force out of his guitar - he's always been quite a wizard in that department.

The Gaslight Anthem are awesome, and I guess I could go see Korn for old times' sake (I had no idea people still listened to them, but I figure they do, since they're playing after Coldplay).

I've been listening to a lot of Angelina Carberry and some Enda Scahill to see if some of their banjo playing skills rub off on me.

Yeah, a lot of crap there and many bands I never heard of.
Ok, "White Lies" I like and was good, and next thing I will enjoy will probably be BossHoss on Sunday. lol
Wonder if they have financial problems and if people like and want most of this.
No real banger there, not much quality or great stuff, and the whole development and audience is strange not "rock".
I am worried about music, anyway. Mostly a punishment to listen to todays music and most young people will never know real good old music of any kind. Everything Gaga-lalablablaoioioimamamamama or mostly just crapmusic.
Good that everyone is free choose what to listen to.
