Just testing out a new pair of ear cans with these three classics tracks, in particular:

Dire Straits - Down to the Waterline
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz1TlJGLzqs

Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lt-udg9zQSE

The Clash - London Calling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vHvzybkqfo
"Phony beatlemania has bitten the dust" :)

What are the new Cans??

What's your source?

Got some HD600's arriving today....kinda hoping the weather is Schitt (pun intended) so I wont be riding and can settle in with these :)

Dire Straits / Dire Straits is one of my Fav Albums.

What am I listening to now?

Radiohead - "A Moon Shaped Pool"

^^ Very good, not as good as "In Rainbows" but waaaaay better than "The King of Limbs"

Beyerdynamic DT770 (32 ohm version, so no need for an amp). I have it plugged into an old Pioneer receiver, connected through aux to my PC jack. Sound is great, especially after I exchanged the synthetic leather pads with the Velour ones. The sound is much more flat and less bass-oriented :) Great purchase so far!

Nice!! :D

I have the Beyer DT1350's as a Portable On Ear option - I like them, but they don't get too much use as I'm really into Custom IEM's these days......and they seem to be my "go-to" Portable.

I'd love to hear the Beyer T-1 one day.

While the Brazilians had their amazing Tropicália movement, they weren't alone in taking on an entirely new take on Anglo-American trends in South America. The Uruguayans had their Beatles-esque bands like Los Shakers, but Peru was perhaps the most interesting, as local cumbia sounds were blended with surf-rock guitar and terrifying farfisa organ to create sinister atmospheres like this:

Juaneco y su Combo ~ La Cumbia del Pacurro
