I stumbled on this in my related videos when listening to some Morricone stuff.

Patricia Janečková performing C'era una volta il west

Flawless! I cannot believe she was just 12 at that time. :surprised: Beautiful soprano voice, Ennio loved bringing soprano vocals on his music :) . The performer on the original version is of course Edda Sabatini (better known as Edda Dell'Orso after her marriage). She was great too but I love Patricia's performance better. ;)

I really like the sung version "Un jour tu reviendra" by Mireille Mathieu. She really sung with her guts and brought a lot of drama into it: Mireille Mathieu sings Ennio Morricone (at 1.40) Dulce Pontes, not bad but I prefer Mireille Mathieu by a country mile.

Hayley Westenra is not bad either but not as powerful as Patricia. ;)
