MVDP v Pidcock. The multi-discipline thread

A brief revival for this thread over the next six days, starting with GP Denain tomorrow and then the Worlds on Sunday.

Since April, Pidcock has ridden a couple of one-dayers on the road in June, then The Vuelta, so pretty difficult to predict his form VDP has ridden even less since crashing out of The Olympics, but has ridden three one-dayers in the last week and looked pretty decent? A decent result for both tomorrow could at least make a psychological difference going into the weekend
