Great racing instinct quintana, what a ride!
Amazing attack, really put the pressure on Froome for 5 seconds.

Don't go too far, that was a good 3 seconds but don't worry now quintana has another excuse.

"I lost the tour in the descent, bad luck"

Quintana got out-smarted today, but he did look strong. Even if he can only avoid losing more time tomorrow, he will still be in good shape; but if he's feeling good, he needs to go on the attack.

Where are the Colombians that defends his great racing style at every single race, I guess they are all gone in the descent as well
What the hell are you talking about? He got out-maneuvered today, but it took a really great move by Froome. Quintana's racing style is very efficient most of the time; it doesn't mean he can't lose a race.

Well Froome attack today basically guarantees that tomorrow there will be attack by Quintana. Even Froome said that he might have spent too much on the descent and imagine how much much lighter Quintana would've been required to invest his energy to chase Froomedown. Quintana did right thing today and it is just 23 seconds.

Contenders who have lost time in the first week:
Contador (crashes)
Porte (puncture) (if a contender at all)
Pinot (puncheur finish, not really any sort of typical "first-week business")

I don't think Quintana's first week is an indication of anything. Unlike last year, there's hardly been any opportunity to lose time on terrain where he was at a disadvantage.

But he hasn't lost Froome's wheel once, so it's definitely been a major improvement

Big improvement. He loses Froome's wheel on descents now.

Not much cooperation in the chase group it seemed but if Valverde and Quintana were good enough they should have caught Froome.A small time gap but it could be an important one.

In the Route du Sud 2015, Quintana was much better of Contador on Bales...but at the end, in the lat sections Quintana could not close the gap , despite the best legs

Well... He was quicker than Froome to respond on uphill accelerations, but we all know Froome has that delay time and there was Henao with him, as well. Regarding the tempo ride, I believe they both were in comfort.

Then all he has to do is ride away with Henao. Doesn't matter if Henao follows him when Froome loses the wheel of Henao.
