Emile Vrijman -

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/cycling/2006-06-02-wada-lance-doping_x.htm?POE=SPOISVA

They put as fact things that are suppositions, suspicions and possibilities," Pound said.

Pound said WADA has "completely rejected" the report written by lawyer Emile Vrijman for the International Cycling Union (UCI). The report defended Armstong against accusations that he used performance-enhancing drugs at the 1999 Tour de France.

He said the report had so many factual errors that "pointing them out would probably take as much space as the (132-page) report." WADA will consider legal action against Vrijman and "any organization, including UCI, that may publicly adopt its conclusions."

Pound said a complete, independent investigation was needed to determine whether the seven-time Tour champion used endurance-boosting erythropoietin, or EPO.

The cycling union appointed Vrijman in October to investigate the handling of urine samples from the 1999 Tour by a French anti-doping lab. His report released Wednesday exonerated Armstrong "completely" of any doping infractions. $

According to recent review by some folks on the forum, citing McQuaid's comments, the donations were made only weeks after the report was published.

In my best George Bush voice, "Heck of a job there Vrimi", as the check is handed to a giddy Patty McDouche.

Someone Novitzky very definitely has to talk to early on is that Polish guy Ryszard Kielpinski, the longtime Postal/Discovery soigneur, and still Lance's soigneur. Very likely the conduit of his PED's.

Should be relatively easy to charge with perjury.

LOL, reminds me of that Lance troll, "Polish", on the forum here, popping up all over the place defending his idol, Lance. Strangely and urgently loyal to Lance, with a tint of desperation in his posting now. Wonder why? ;)

Maybe im just niave but Im shock at so many Aussies in that list........ being around this place I shouldnt be shocked at anything and really wish we could burn the hole lot down metephorically and start again. Thinking we would have the majority of riders from our country to be clean was the only thing that keep my interested alive......I cant even believe thats true anymore.

Id like to investigate LA so called 'livestrong' charity and everyone that runs it.......whats really going to 'charity' and what is helping LA to cover his and his mates arses!

i dont know anything about american laws but i thought the federal prosecutor miller assigned to assist novitzky has the power to get over such hurdles or at least make use of the already traveled ground efficiently. i mean i still believe they all race against the statue of limitation at this point and it's like 2 months away.

As has been stated in other posts and threads, there may be a case for equitable tolling of the statute in the face of what is referred to as "fradulent concealment" (deliberate hiding, non-disclosure, or suppression of a material fact or circumstance (which one is legally or morally bound to reveal) with intent to deceive or defraud in a contractual arrangement.)

Tailwaind was in a contractual arrangement with the USPS.

In Rotella v. Wood, 528 U.S. 549 (2000), the Supreme Court wrote:

In rejecting pattern discovery as a rule, we do not unsettle the understanding that federal statutes of limitations are generally subject to equitable principles of tolling [citation omitted], and where a pattern remains obscure in the face of a plaintiff's diligence in seeking to identify it, equitable tolling may be one answer to the plaintiff's difficulty. . . .

Most of the SCA case is already public. The far better guys to talk to are Lemond lawyers. Good thing they are now working with Landis.

I agree. It just seems that you need to revisit these things every so often around here. Guarenteed, tomorrow someone will pop on here claiming if they don't nab Armstrong by July, they'll blow the statute.

To be sure, if they could not gain the footing on a tolling claim, they would only lose the broken rules of law/sport from 2002. That forward would still be game.

For all we know, they've already placed a claim to stop the clock.

Quite a list. Would there be any point in calling Willy Voet up to place the scale of doping in context?

you bring up a good point. I am curious who the transporters of the product were. In the list above, or names yet unknown.

willy voet was left to rot. It took 6 days for the goat to be spared.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festina_affair

July 10, 1998: Bruno Roussel, directeur sportif of Festina, declared a day before the start of the Tour in Dublin that he had nothing to do with the drugs find. He claimed that Voet was not supposed to be with the team for the Tour.[6] Meanwhile a judicial inquiry into the importation and illegal circulation of contraband items began in France. It was announced that Voet would be imprisoned in Loos for two weeks.

July 17, 1998: Roussel admitted to systematic doping on the team. In the late evening, Tour de France race directeur Jean-Marie Leblanc expelled the Festina team from the Tour; they would not start the seventh stage (July 18).[11][12]
