The weather is so bad even Traksel abandoned
Maybe because there's climbing involved.

Van den Broeck DNF in Geel.
Of course, crap weather, this hurts the TDF prep. Too bad the Rabo guys feel obliged to finish, although the course is probably a little more suited in Holland.

Suisse Women's TT

Noted Suisse Champ's TT Womens: two names mentioned that made little sense/unable to "identify".

17 Schneeberger Schneeberger (Swi) 0:39:07.56
18 Schmidmeister Schmidmeister (Swi) 0:39:14.19

I assume they are industry sponsored riders with dispensation???

Please advise.

Nice to see that ACF has finished his high attitude training and has finally turned up to make life tough for the Dutch riders.
Along with dlwssonic, they form a formidable, two prong attack on anybody who isn't either Cadel Evans, or a BMC rider.
Hopefully, for the tour, they will have also toughened up their skin, for when the verbal attacking is then dished out in the opposite direction.

Surprised we haven't had the: Dutch riders are so soft, or Why is the Dutch nationals second rate?:D

Presumably, all today's viewable races will be finishing late............
............another lovely June day in Northern Europe.

He allegedly got a prescription for a spray near the end of the Giro, and didn't know it could make the cortisol rate decrease dramatically ;)
