Haha, that is a perfect description. Fun, but almost invariably ultimately pointless.hrotha said:Mancebo doesn't do well in the nationals. He just rides like a headless chicken, flapping his arms around and being absolutely stupid, tactics-wise, just so that people will remember he's still around.
Definitely. There are lots of things I really, really dislike about Team Sky. I can't stand their boring, corporate normal jerseys... but their national champions jerseys are just about the best in the bunch.The_Z_man said:Too bad Fischer didn't win in Brasil. I always liked their jersey, and seeing a member of my favorite team wearing it was awesome.
If Wiggins' British Champ jersey is anything to go by, EBH's should be classic.
In retrospect he should not have competed at all. He is not completed recovered after his crash on stage one in Toscana - Coppa delle Nazioni. He did well at Tres Días de Alava showing his punch on the hardest hill of the race, but unfortunately the stitches in his knee cut open.Bye Bye Bicycle said:Rafael Reis came in as 6th in the U23 ITT. It's still not his season so far.
Libertine Seguros said:Then you have Thomas' (and subsequently Wiggins') straightforward, classy British jersey:
Cadel has not participated in the Australian Nats for a while but other than that most of our stars will compete as it is good preparation for the TDU.WindLessBreeze said:Do Trade Teams urge their best riders to take part on their respective National Championships, or not?
