Great win, not sure how he got a 30 second gap so soon but he held on to it, so chapeau. I've read this guy's story once, he hasn't exactly had the best of luck so far.

Good for Timmy! Looking forward to seeing his jersey. Stars and stripes are always a design challenge and Liquigas lime doesn't help the matter.

it cannot be worse than RSLT attempt, Italians are usually pretty good at nat champ jerseys.

Congrats to Duggan. I think he is a solid, classy rider who should now be given the opportunity to ride the TDF- he rode so well for Sagan at the TOC.

Busche, TJVG and the rest should have continued to chase. Congrats to Pipp and Reijnen.

Yes, just thinking that the timing is excellent to race really well for the us champs after a hard ToC if one gives your body the right amount of rest and recovery in between.
Great prep...

Excellent podium! These are nice guys too...:)
all hometown boys. Cheers!

Congrats to duggan
We'll see how the designers of the liquigas kit combine red white and blue with lime green. Hopefully it will be like Hincapies kit and not just a flag across the front like alot of other national champ kits these days.

I actually quite liked the jersey - the best jerseys in my opinion are the ones that start looking like a national champions jersey and then add in a little bit of the team's identity.

Don't think Velits' national champion's jersey from HTC looked nearly as good. Though, the less of the HTC kit from that year the better, in my opinion.

I just hate it when they do the Leopard-style jerseys. There, the fact that they have national champions seems to strike the team as an inconvenience, meaning they can't have all the team looking exactly the same. Movistar from last year were pretty pathetic as well (that said the Spanish jersey has been hideous before), and they aren't much better this year.
