Having seen the last 3 laps, I would say that it was an interesting race, but not quite as great as people suggest.

Oh, and Moser is amazing. That is all.

It was more fun to watch compared to many other editions.

Someone to claim that "riders make the race, routes don't matter etc" in 4,3,2...
I fully agree with you btw.

I thought Pellizotti had won, but this isn't him.

The worlds in Firenze will have an even harder course, isn't it?

The route of Firenze is still not official and under definition, but it might have this climb

Great race. Moser was the real deal once again.
Don't get the bashing on Nibali honestly. He's not peaking for the italian championships and coming straight from hard training. He looked much much better than in Dauphine.

He looks exactly the same, but no hair

if i didnt know that indeed he sported that silly hairdo a few years back i would probably be convinced that it's photoshop that's responsible.
he should have kept it and added Gilbert's earrings.. just to spice things up :D

actually, it was probably that hairdo that made it hard for me in the past to root for the guy.

No he is the only pro. So he always wins. :p

Actually there are 10/12 competitors. But they all suck.
2 years ago at the road race he wasn't sure what to expect so he just went full out from the start. Ended up riding the rest at 30 minutes
