Some important games this week especially in the NFC If Seattle beat the Giants and the Rams lose to the Cardinals the Hawks will have a two win lead on the rest of the NFC West which should be enough for them to clinch the division. Bills and Niners should be a good game. The Titans and Browns should also be interesting with both teams having very good run games. Some people are smelling an upset with Washington and the Steelers. Washington are certainly looking better. Saints need to beat the Falcons to stay on top of the NFC and they should but if they lose and GB and Seattle win then it gets very congested at the head of the conference.

If Josh doesn't play for NYG it should make SEA's job easier.

Should. However, the SEA injury list is still substantial if including all the main questionable players (Dunlop, Lewis, Ogbuehi, Hyde) & doubtfuls (Shell, Flowers tho he's not what I'd call "key"). And the Giants are still one of the better teams with a crappy record. But for reasons below, I'm not watching.

So, I pay for Hulu and have Roku. I do not have satellite or cable TV, although I could. The only Seattle games I can get are those broadcast on ESPN or CBS. I cannot get FOX games, which is the case today vs the NYG. I guess either FOX or the NFL is blocking access. To get FOX games they say I have to be a satellite or cable TV subscriber. This has become so ridiculous I'm about to give the NFL the 3-finger salute. Last year I had NFL Game Pass, but I'm not paying $50/game or $200/season. Seahawks website says games can be streamed via Game Pass. Does anyone know another way to get streamed games without cable or satellite TV?

I just have an old school antenna on my roof. I can't watch games on NFL Network or ESPN, but I get all of the regular network games.

An antenna if you are close enough to pick it up over the air. I do understand there are some areas where you can't get all the over the air networks with an antenna as I happen to live in one of those areas. I can't get ABC with an antenna. Guess the other option is Dish's streaming service Sling and see if they include either it or at least Red Zone where you'd get the important plays. I have Dish and watch Red Zone for Sunday afternoon games. You get all scoring plays and big plays that way from all the games.

Huge win for the Patriots. Important wins for the Rams, and Browns who managed to stop the Henry train. From what I read the Titans defense was awful and Mayfield has answered his detractors. Badly timed loss for the Hawks, especially with the Packers, Saints and Rams all winning. The Giants defense was obviously good. Giants have won four straight now. Washington will be hoping to do the same to the Steelers. Bears playoff chances look done, the Colts and Vikings are still rolling along as are the Dolphins.

A Niners win over the Bills will just muddy the NFC West waters even further ! Crazy division. The Rams have lost their last four to the 49ers and the Cardinals have lost their last seven to the Rams and the Hawks always struggle with the Rams while the Niners do the same with the Hawks !

I don't have cable anymore. I originally did and I could watch the NFL app on my Xbox and phone that played the games that were zoned for my area. I stopped with cable and it stopped working for the Xbox but still works for my phone. I'm not sure why it still works, my phone provider.

Can see why people only watch highlights or illegal downloads on YouTube. Can be expensive watching live sports now. I pay for the privilege but might look for a cheaper option next year. Free To Air only offers so much so I opted for ESPN as well and even then I still don't get to see all of my team's games live. It all depends on how much you value it. Sports obsessives obviously don't mind paying premium prices.

SEA is off. Rus isn't playing his best (I assume because he knows his line isn't going to hold), guys don't make catches they should, reads they should, tackles they should, or run routs like they should. That being said, they are still solidly in it, but its time to step up.

Colt McCoy? Solid. He has made an artform/career out of coming off of the bench.

-CLE looked good.
-DEN looked good...but KC looked better even though they had trouble inside the 20 (I am no longer using the term r*dzone).

Thanks all for tips on how to get games. Ended up going antenna route, one of those inexpensive round doughnut shaped jobs I forgot I had. Letting the TV scan for channels over the antenna was able to receive good quality HD FOX signal from Yakima, about 80 miles away. Weird tho, not the local within 5 miles stations. But THAT was the best part of the day, as the Seattle game was absolutely sucky.

While difficult to watch, after the PREZ's comment this week, I was glad they lost, which they deserved anyway. In a presser he said something like "let's not talk about all the negativity. We are 8-3. Let's talk about that." The comment itself was not bad, but the tone implied there was no sense of urgency. Hearing that, little alarm bells went off inside my head. Especially knowing as I said before game, the Giants are a better team than their crap record shows. Like Seattle overlooked them.

Enjoyed the Cleveland game.

The Broncos had a chance to win the game - a defining moment for Drew Lock. After the KC FG, Denver gets the ball at their own 25 with a 1:04 left and needing a TD & extra-point to win the game. And what does Lock do - throws a pick at mid-field killing any chance of a game winning drive!

Not good if he's supposed to be Elway's franchise QB. We've seen Mahomes, Rodgers, Brees, Wilson, Brady, Big Ben, etc, easily mow down the field getting the needed score in those situations. 1:04 at your own 25 is an eternity in the NFL.

Lock simply couldn't get the job done.

QB controversy at Philly after Wentz is benched for Hurts:

I wondered about this when ownership drafted Hurts in the mid-2nd round. Teams usually don't draft QBs in the 2nd round to be backups. There must have been some uncertainty with Wentz's injury history and his ability to perform. Now we have the answer: Benching your #2 OA drafted franchise QB is about as bad as it gets in the NFL.

Niners were in the game with the Bills but the Bills made less mistakes and had the superior QB play. Niners secondary had an off day and the run game wasn't what it can be. Allen played well. A few ill timed flags for the Niners cost them as well. Pretty impressed with the Bills. I think they might be the best team the Niners have faced this season at least on that performance. They play the Steelers next week which should provide more answers about their form. Niners playoff chances look over and they also have to play a resurgent Washington next week so the battle continues ! Mullens made some good throws but you have to have your best QB on the field at this time of the season especially with an injured team. Niners pass rush has also suffered without Bosa and Ford for the entire season. Allen had plenty of time to throw most of the time. Kittle's blocking is also being missed on the run game.

I'd agree Seattle overlooked or underestimated the Giant's defense, for sure. It didn't help that Seattle's receivers were preoccupied with running after the catch, rather than actually securing the ball on key plays. Make those catches and the game begins to change completely. The tip drill interception was especially frustrating although Seattle's defense didn't completely give up. They need to get the remaining O-line guys healthy and gather their sh*t.
Glad to see Alex Smith getting the job done!

Patriots got beat down which didn't really surprise me even after the big win in their previous game. The Rams are pretty good and even better when Goff can game manage. Do the Patriots bring Cam back next season ? Looks like the NFC West won't be decided until the final game unless Seattle has another game like last week ! Patriots playoff chances looking shaky.

That int off Goff was crazy. Took it right out of his bread basket.

I don't know. The Patriots aren't helping with lack of skill position players and play calling. The 3rd and 4th and goal the Rams didn't even play for pass, they went for the run and Cam. I don't think Stidham is the answer either for them. Definitely missing playoffs unless a complete melt down from 2-3 teams ahead of them. Even next year with their players back that opted out, they are all getting older. Bill needs to bring in some youth and stop getting cheeky with the draft and free agents. People harp on the Bears taking Turbisky but the Patriots could have gotten a lot of quality players with their picks and instead got average or worse.

Seems Bill hasn't drafted a quality WR for many years from the grpahic they showed during the game...........I don't think Cam will be back, he was on a minimal one year deal and is nothing like what he was. The stats tell a miserable story even if it isn't all his fault just like Wentz and Trubisky but he looks like a shadow of the player he used to be. I think they should bench him after the next game and give Stidham more time on the field because QBs rarely do well playing minimal minutes, they need the reps.

Even players like Mullens at the 49ers improved with more playing time. He was okay against the Bill but then Allen was elite. Cam is a back up at the moment and I don't think he will start for another team not at his current level. Bill will probably keep one of them as a back up and look elsewhere for a starter. Wentz is probably untradeable at the moment with his current contract. Lots of teams will be brain storming around their QB positions including the Bears, Patriots, Eagles, 49ers, Denver maybe, Rams will stick with Goff as erratic as he is, the Bengals will wait for for Burrow to heal, maybe the Colts stick with their current QB. Jets will probably trade Darnold as the draft is their answer and the Falcons might clean house and try and trade Ryan if they want to rebuild the offense. What Dallas does is anyone's guess, wouldn't surprise me if Dak moved on, he should have some takers. Washington will stick with Smith for the moment but they will probably have another shot with the draft soon.

RE: Cam- He has nothing to work with. Even in MVP form he would struggle to move the ball with this crew. I don't know if NE keeps him on for another year or not, but who is going to do better (and be on the market)? Both Stafford and Ryan are rumored to be on the way out, but are they the answer? How about Fitzmagic? There are a few guys coming in the draft, but will NE get them? Or even bigger Q, can they develop a rook?
