As we all get prepared for great championship matchups, as a Charger fan I am just happy that they avoided making an obvious Spanos decision, they went against their instincts and didn't hire Urban Meyer.

Like I said, found another reason to keep him out of the game.
You got to wonder if he'll be with the team next year? With his blazing speed (4.37), he was supposed to be replacement for Tyreek Hill & give Mahomes that deep threat. Though he's had some injuries, he's generally underperformed this year as their designated #1 receiver. KC took a risk with him since the Giants let him go in less than 2 seasons after drafting him in the 1st round!

Entertaining first half.
-I would have gone for the field goal early in Q2 if I was KC.
-Jackson catching his own pass was pretty cool!

What a weird but total domination by the Chiefs! They played a control game that frustrated the over-amped and hyper confident Ravens. Kelce as a trash-talker extracting penalties showed that the Ravens needed to calm down a bit. The D for both sides was exceptional (less some coverage calls by Ravens DC) but it was surprising to see Lamar taken out of his comfort zone so completely. He played with his emotions on his sleeve and it showed in the 4th qtr when Baltimore's D (Clowny?) got a roughing penalty....the look on his face was a panicky sense of loss.
And then Andy Reid dialed up the game sealing first down pass play and no one saw it coming. Almost anti-climactic considering KC didn't score in the second half but controlled the 3rd quarter. I still don't believe it.

But at the end of the day the Chiefs defense got the turnovers to keep the game away and kept playing elite. Chiefs offense looked better on some drives and MVS didn’t drop the deep ball to ice the game and they played sound football with no back breaking mistakes. NFL can be happy Chiefs and Swift will be at the Super Bowl, all they need is the Lions. I saw someone post a crazy theory of Kelce proposing after a Chiefs Super Bowl win

Had a feeling that the Chiefs would find a way. Of course the refs will be a talking point once again but the two errors by Flowers are on him although the second one was more a great defensive play. When does running into a receiver without the ball not become PI ?

Ravens D spent too much time trying to demonstrate angry dominance. When it didn't work the air began to come out of their swag.
Yes but after the Chiefs were already getting away with a lot. Now there were some penalties the Ravens absolutely deserved. But most of all Chiefs defense stayed elite and got the turnovers and their offense played sound football. They had plenty of plays converted that they converted on that they weren’t able to do before.

By rule that should have been PI, but I hate to see PI called when the QB threw the ball away before the PI occurred.

Depends if that receiver was in the primary position to catch the ball. If you're talking about the end zone pic; he wasn't capable of catching it and the defender arguably was also going thru him to the ball.
On the other hand....that was the stupidest pass choice I've seen in awhile with the game in the balance.

I saw two plays that KC got away with something, that isn't a lot IMO. Obviously its impossible to say how much impact those two no calls had.

Kelce had a push off on his touchdown extending his right arm fully before the defender pushed his arm back
There was a hold by the right tackle on Mahomes big run when he got hit by like 4 defenders while diving forward
Blind side block when the defender was facing and standing towards the RB and the Chiefs receiver hit him in the back, though that didn’t affect the play

Then wasn’t able to watch after the 7-7 and was listening on and off when had connection so it’s hard to say by the fan reaction to calls or no calls.

Then the DPIs on Ravens int drive.

But no one told Ravens to go out there and taunt, jump offsides, 12 men on the field, rough the passer, or get physical with anyone. That’s on them.

Chiefs also should be the favorite and anyone that bet on them in the middle of the season is going to make bank. It was like +1500 or something for them to win, plus however much Mahomes as SBMVP was.

Seahawks might be able to grab Lion’s offensive coordinator as their new head coach—and I love the way the Lion’s offense operates. Problem is I don’t think either of Hawks QBs can do the quick reads that Goff is excelling at. And they don’t have an o-line anywhere near as good as Lions, so maybe it’s a mirage that the play-calling is making a big difference.

Great win for KC. Played solid all game, well coached. Will be favored in the SB, and deservedly so.

Total choke by Lamar, again. Couldn’t do anything in the clutch and panicked. Totally dumb for Harbaugh to completely give up on the run game. Deserved to lose.

So, now you're on the KC bandwagon? Didn't you predict Baltimore winning by double-digits? Lol. You shouldn't bet against the Gunslinger in post-season. I said before the playoffs they would return to the SB. All the highly paid talking heads saying this is a down year for KC; they don't look right, Mahomes isn't playing as well as in past seasons, too many distractions with Kelce & Swift, etc, etc, etc. Idiots...Lol This is dynasty - as the Gunslinger goes...so goes the Chiefs. He's a future HOFer & if this keeps up, he could be end up being one of the best of all-time (Mahomes' playoff record is now 14-3!).

I agree with you a total choke by Jackson & the O. Total O was fairly close with KC (319/339), but the Ravens had 3 turnovers to  zero by the Chiefs. And with Jackson being the leading rusher - that's never a good sign in playoff football if your QB is the leading rusher. The rest of the team looked flat lacking in the intensity that KC brought to the game. Even the stadiums lights going off & on introducing Suggs on the field in the 2nd half to try & rally the team didn't work. Lol.

What can you say about Mahomes & Kelce. The best QB & TE playing on the same team - a recipe for success (who would have thought. Lol). And Mahomes' scrambling ability got them some key 1st downs keeping drives alive. He's one of the greatest playmakers in the history of the game. And good, hard running by Pacheco playing hurt (I think this is KC's franchise RB moving forward - give him the big contract he deserves). And what a call there at the end with less 2 mins to go with the bomb thrown to Valdes-Scantling that put the dagger into Baltimore - clutch throw & clutch catch!

Hey...if the Lions win, this will be a rematch of the two teams from week #1 where the Lions won. I wouldn't mind seeing the Lions in the SB (first time ever) - I like Campbell & his crew.
