After watching the highlights it was definitely the best offensive performance of the Chiefs since at least 2023. If they keep it up against the top 10 Jags they’re back in business.
Wow...that's a big blow to Dart's development.
They sure did. And just another day at the office for Allen throwing & running with ease. Allen has almost a thousand yards passing already & currently holds the highest QBR rating (on pace for another 4000 + yds). And Cook has been on fire averaging 100 yds a game - 2nd best in the league. And they're 2nd in points scored only behind Detroit.Bills got it done efficiently enough.
Maybe the Dolphins will take him to make sure they go 0-17.
The importance of a good back up QB has never been greater especially for teams like the Bengals that have mainly offensive talent and win games by scoring a lot of points.............maybe not this year..........Nice comeback try by the Jets but too little....too late. Fields over 300 yds of total offense & 2 scores, but no win & the Jets go 0-4. Dolphin victory probably saved McDaniel from a mid-season firing. Tyreek Hill looks to have suffered a serious, season-ending leg injury.
No surprises in the Bronco game. Explosive offense with over 500 yds of total O & 6.4 yds average per play. Nix well over 300 yds passing & Dobbins 100 yds rushing. No offense for the Bengals. That's expected with the gigantic drop off going from Burrow to Browning. Lol. The Bengals are a sinking ship, they may not win another game this season without Burrow. They looked pathetic out there.
Ravens defense has imploded in a somewhat short amount of time. Never been a Hill fan but admired his athleticism. Wilson looks like he's just about done. If the Steelers and Ravens miss the playoffs both coaches could be gone as neither is getting closer to a SB. Even if they make the playoffs and go out early it's probably time for a change at both teams. No one is going to trade for Russell Wilson. Not even Cincinnati. He's not going to "save" any team.
I don't personally like Hill. All one has to do is look him up, his life outside of football.
KC's offense and Patty did look good (again), but the Ravens defense is horrible. Low effort, bad tackling, blown coverages. They have now given up more points than any other team in the NFL. Twice as many points as Seattle, for comparison. Only Dallas has given up more total yards, and that's because of their OT game. Plus the Ravens are 28th in yards per play. Harbaugh's seat has to be getting hot.
Raiders played their best game in a loss. Jeanty finally got going.
Because I had no knowledge of Dart previously, did he do something in preseason that was ominous about Russell Wilson's future? Is there any parallel between Dart and Sanders? I don't see much downside for even just to start Sanders. I think that there could be something subtle, unseen that is worth the risk. Dart capitalized on first game ..Gabriel wasn't that bad in the preseason. At times he looked like he could play in the NFL. The Browns problem is that Sanders played okay in one game, and pretty bad in another. But there's no question when the Browns start losing again, the fans will call for Sanders because of his name and hype, and the fact Stefanski's seat has to be getting warm means Shedeur will play. But I didn't see much of anything from Sanders showing me he was really ready to start in the NFL. But my guess is we will find out in a matter of weeks.
Three of four teams in the AFC north now are playing backup QBs. The only starter left is Aaron Rodgers, somehow. Some way. Flacco is done, unless Gabriel and Sanders get hurt, or are beyond horrible. Burrow appears out for the season. Lamar may only miss 1-2 games. But the Ravens are in such a hole, I'm not sure how long they can go without him.
Yep. Every "expert" had Sanders as the second best QB in the draft.NFL.Draftbuzz, which classifies QB prospects according to "type" of QB, has Sanders as a mobile PP...
"Pea shooter Jones" was on fire! 342 yds, 2 scores, 100 Rtg & 0 turnovers! - and he was playing hurt on that bad knee nonetheless! Eat your words Rex Ryan - you clown! Lol. And the backups stepped up - 17 catches between Bourne & Tonges! And what a punch out by 2nd rd pick rookie Alfred Collins causing Williams to fumble at the goal line.Impressive gritty win by SF tonight. Total team win. Offense, defense, special teams. Jones was excellent. And a lot of backup players stepped up to win when it mattered, in a game everyone expected them to lose handily.
Wins so far over all three division opponents, beating both Seattle and LA on the road. 49ers schedule favorable the rest of the season.
Are you talking about his attitude that dropped him so badly in the draft? Because performance wise he is the 2nd best QB in the draft. All the top scouting sites had him as a 1st rounder (e.g. NFL.com, Draftbuzz, Bleacher, etc). NFL. com. rated him with a prospect score of 6.30 ("Will Eventually Be Plus Starter") - same rating as Cam Ward! Bleacher had him at 8.0 on their rating scale = impact player. Do you think all these sites would get it wrong? They collectively agree on his potential as a starter in the league.Yep. Every "expert" had Sanders as the second best QB in the draft.
And then reality hit.
