You're right. The video I linked doesn't show the backers very well & I thought they let their guard down anticipating the Chiefs would call time out. This video with a better angle shows they were ready & were just blown back by the Chiefs OL. Nonetheless it's funny verbiage by Mahomes - did that actually go over the air live or does CBS use a short delay during their broadcasts? (I didn't see any of the game).

I love unedited movies and real life. ****n A Patrick! Gotta be fun to pull that off no matter who was prepared.

Precisely. He finally did put Brosmer in for the last series, that's it.

I think Wentz is into Andrew Luck, Derek Carr, RGIII territory, in that I don't know if his body can handle much more football. Two ACL tears, broken wrist, broken ribs, broken fingers, now a thrashed shoulder and thrashed elbow. Plus various other typical injuries every NFL player gets like concussions and high ankle sprains. The guy should seriously consider calling it quits. He's married with a couple kids. Go spend time with them. Go do something else with your life while you still can.

Both the Chargers and Broncos games with the Chiefs loom large. Are these kids ready to take on the bully on the block? Should be fun for us to watch.
Wentz reminds me of a bike racer I know that didn't quit until a family intervention.

MIA@ATL - Kirk Cousins comeback game for the Falcons!
NYJ@CIN - Just days after Woody trashed Fields, he will be starting with Taylor out.
BUF@CAR - Bills haven't looked great of late, while the Panthers seem on the up.
CHI@BAL - Bears have won 4 in a row. Ravens cannot afford to lose. Get some players back on D, but not Lamar.
SF@HOU - Both Purdy and Pearsall out for Niners.
CLE@NE - Pats and Maye have been superb passing. Browns have a stout passing D.
DAL@DEN - High power offense vs. high power defense.
GB@PIT - Packers have underperformed, Steelers overperformed.

WAS@KC - Commanders completely banged up while KC is at near full strength.

Starting QB's missing for this week : Penix, Purdy, Jackson, Burrow, Daniels, Tyrod Taylor, McCarthy, and Bryce Young expected to be out. NFC West the only division with three teams on five wins and all have healthy QB's except for the 49ers who have arguably one of the best back up QB's currently with Mac Jones who has won four of his five starts, then of course you have the QB issues at Vegas and the Browns. The importance of signing a good back up..........

Deebo back for the injured Commanders. Be surprised if the Chiefs lost.

If Cousins is anywhere near his former self I don't expect the Falcons to lose against Miami although the Falcons racked up a few injuries last week.

If Flacco can replicate his last game or even just game manage it should be enough to defeat the hapless Jets. Bengals are playing better in general.

Bears will continue to run the ball although Swift has been banged up. Would not surprise if the Ravens bounce back as long as the QB play is reasonable. Bears in a close one.

Everyone's expecting a low scoring defensive game between the Texans and 49ers. Of course the 49ers lost their best pass rusher in Huff last week who would have been a big help against the worst O line in the league. Texans defense is playing well but their offense has major issues and injuries. Think the 49ers offense should find enough yards and CMC is back in form. Don't expect many TD's.

Browns and Patriots will be an interesting one. As ever with the Browns, where will the TD's come from ? Turn overs might decide it. Patriots to win.

Cowboys and Bronco's another one of contrasting styles. Dak and his receivers are in good form. Bronco's in a close one.

Not sold on GB after the early hype nor the Steelers for that matter. Packers to win by one score.

Dalton possibly starting for the Panthers. The Bills are in the doldrums at the moment. They need a win to get back on track. Bills to win but not by much.

Jets comeback over the Bengals absolutely wild. Probably the best game of Fields career. Completely written off (including by me), the owner of the team trashes him, and he plays a superb game.

Eagles are going to be a difficult team for anyone to beat. So solid in every phase of the game. Cam Skattebo injury gruesome.

Mac Jones struggled again. Credit Texans D. Also CJ played good.

Now we see why Cousins isn't playing for the Falcons.

Despite Gabriel throwing 2 TDs and playing better every week, I fully expect the media and fans to make even more noise for Shedeur to start.

What an absolute meltdown by the Bengals and on top of that Flacco getting injured. That was their chance to be right in it for the division win.

Impressive Bronco win which should have been a better game by the Cowboys (this time the Broncos didn't spot the Cowboys 19 pts for the 1st 3 Qtrs, but instead scored 14 in the 1st Qtr & 27 by halftime themselves. Lol). Nix 4 TD strikes, Dobbins over 100 yds. The Broncos beat the Cowboys in every offensive category. (The Broncos have now beaten 3 out of the 4 NFC East teams with the Commanders game forthcoming in December). Broncos looking strong at 6-2.

Pats dominating win over Cleveland with Maye pushing for MVP consideration: 330 yds of total O & 3 scores. Pats also looking strong at 6-2.

Eagles are, in deed, looking very solid. Hurts did it with his arm this time throwing for 4 TDs Barkley & Bigsby combined 254 yds rushing.

Nice win by the Jets. I figured the Bengals would easily win this with the momentum carried over with Flacco's big win over Pittsburgh on TNF. Not so. Fields did look good but he also looked very good against the Steelers earlier this season. The problem is the Jets haven't won this year already essentially out of playoff contention even with this win. Johnson was absolutely counting on playoffs this year with a veteran QB like Fields. So, I think he's gone next year & they'll look at the draft for a QB.

Impressive comeback, and dominant 4Q by the Packers and Love. This is the Packers team many expected to see as the season started. Having Watson back sure helped.

Today was also aptly named National Tight End's Day. Tucker Kraft had 7 catches for 143 yards and 2 TDs for the Pack!

In two weeks Green Bay hosts the Eagles. And on the 27th they go to Detroit.
