I hate the new Liquigas kit. We didn't need even more white. Their lime green/blue combinations had character. This, not so much.

But we already knew 2011 is the Year of the Bland.

No, that would probably tick off a lot of the new fans that bought their jersey last year. I would think it would take a year or two before we see an update. I personally wouldn't mind if they switched to the rainforrest rescue kit they used in Tour of Britain however. That color looks really good.

+1. If we're unlucky we'll see a race with all jerseys being predominantly white. I think I counted to almost 20 jerseys in this thread that are white and only a few of them are continental teams.

Yeah, I agree that the green was a nicer colour than the the blue version but I was hoping they might do something with the white panel. It's like they just plonked it on there to solve the over heating issue.

I actually think the Liquigas kit has a bit of style - sure it's toned down, as is the apparent fashion this year but it's nicely done. Sky and Leopard are bland with poor design.

I was hoping for a darker kit from Liquigas with more of a blue base than white, but hey.... I don't think this one is bad either... I definitely think it'll grow on people by mid-season.

I love how when a team comes out with a black/dark jersey everyone freaks out about how hot riders will be, then when the team comes out with white jerseys everyone complains that there is too much white. Personally I think that all of the jerseys look pretty decent this year (with the exception of Rabobank and Astana maybe ) ...Its a shame that a few of them look kinda similar, but what can you do?

As a sidenote, I really like the new Leopard jerseys, and while I thought they looked too similar to Sky at first, now that I've seen the training camp pics I can see that in natural light the design really is quite distinguishable and colour really is quite a bit lighter than the sky/garmin blue. Really its only Sky/Garmin that I think are too similar!

I actually liked the white panel this year since it was rather distinct and made it easy to make out the Sky riders from the helicopter shots esepcially in the closing stages before a sprint.

They have changed it a bit though, with a bigger sky logo on the shoulders, and the white lines on the arm are longer, as far as I can see.

More or less just poking fun at the fact that everyone has their own opinions on what is attractive and what isn't ... Like how some people like wearing black skin-tight jeans while others wear tattered $200 'True Religion' jeans with ridiculous stitching...

To me the Rabobank jersey this year looks fine on the podium but somehow looks sloppy when seen on a rider in action.

Anyways, to each his own... but I'm just saying, noone is going to be able to come up with a jersey that is going to be attractive to ALL the fans... and if they did they'd never be able to change it!

The overal kit looks pretty nice, the jersey isn't that special but I like it overall

very slight changes. ADdition of new sponsor to the collar, and slight movement of logos/addition of world tour logo.

But effectively, except for the new sponsor (igmarkets) its the same.

The bibshorts have changed to incorporate the new igmarkets sponsor.

Damn. Since all other teams came out, ive spent much of this thread wondering about Liquigas jersey. Now its finaly come out, the fun is over.

Liquigas jersey is a bit of a bolt from the blue. Looks good on Basso, but looked pretty bad in the Szmyd photo.

Vacansoleil - the jersey and shorts looks terrible together. No matching at all.

And that Bretagne Schuller kit can't be the final one can it? Just all black with some white logos?!

well daotec was completely wrong, even i can see it doesnt look like the 2010 tour de france ones, black bands on legs etc.

Much as I hate to say it, ACF is actually correct. There is more black on the stomach area, blacks bands added to the shorts etc.

My favorite Lance photo. In the large size of this, you can see the needle mark on the inside of his right elbow. You can sort of make it out in this one, but it is clear on the larger pic.
