Maybe not, but on the other hand argyle isn't Garmin's trademark, it's Slipstream's. Black, white, and blue would be Garmin's colours.

True, but I'd still want something that couldn't be confused with Sky, Leopard, etc.

AKA the Upside Down Terpstra. ;) Seriously though, this is what national jerseys should be: a simple celebration of the flag. Somebody should have told the folks at Craft...

$225 for bib shorts holy CRAP.
Castelli Body Paint bib shorts on Colorado Cyclist are $249.99. The Garmin shorts are a deal.

I wonder if Belgium and France have rules about national champions unis. I remember Pippo getting in trouble for his Katusha kit not being distinctive enough.

Change the black and grey areas on the shorts, get rid of the saxo logo and voila. Nothing to it. I'm dreaming, right? They'll f@#$ it up.

Yeah, they f***ed it up:

Teams should stop being cheap and get Sir Paul Smith to design a kit. The guy loves cycling, so I'm sure he will come up with something awesome.

That Swiss champ jersey sucks. Movistar and Leopard have done a crap job with the national champ jerseys. At least Quickstep seem to know how to do it right.

Yeah, at least Sir Paul had the forethought to include a flag on the GB champs jersey, so that there was some clue as to which country the national jersey was actually from..

Honestly that is just a horrendous paint job. Coupled with his new 'do and he's just a clash of colours on two wheels. Maybe he's trying to get a further advantage on his rivals by distracting them with his clownish appearance. :p

Well, I don't think yellow-red-black is a specially pretty colour combination to begin with, but you can't choose your home country's flag. ;)

True but they could have done better with that paint job. Maybe it looks better in person, but it photographs horribly.

I'll wait to see what the bike and rider look like together before I judge the designs.

But I don't have my hopes up. At the presentation it looked like Gilbert was wearing the same bibs as the rest of the team. So if you don't like Red Yellow and Black, you really won't like it with a touch of Teal.

Gilbert's new bike:...Not my thing.
I like the paint job myself. The nickname and it's graphic is a bit cheesy but I'll take it. Not worse than "Tornado Tom" on that Specialized.
