Yeah between the Fundacion and the professional team, but apparently not between the Basque government (Euskadi) and the pro team. It's a big mess.

It's just that the team name is name Euskaltel with no Euskadi, and that the old Orbea now is named Euskadi-Orbea that made me think that the pro team only was sponsored by Euskaltel....

According to the folks at Basque Cycling Blog it's Lierni Lekuona Etxebeste, a Basque junior. The guys are both cadet-level racers, Jose Albizua and Gotzon Martín.

Lutsenko's u23 world champ kit. Anybody know if they just made this kit for him for fun? Or will he actually be wearing it when riding in the world tour for them?

just for fun. he can only wear that kit on u23 races, on the pro peloton only the winner of the elite race can wear the rainbow jersey.

Astana has the money to let it produce just for fun. They probably use it now, in the off-season, for cleaning their noses after snorting coke in Monaco

it is not Astana-2013 kit and it is not even Astana-2012. Right now Lutsenko in his rainbow-Astana-Conti kit, he made only couple of races in it after Limbourg win

it's all marketing, why wouldn't you want the rainbow jersey on all warm-ups, training camps, 'candid' team pics, and if I won any rainbow jersey (track, road, U23, junior) I would wear it all the time for training, you earned it for a year, have fun.
