Sure, the Lotto jersey looks cool, but it's a major problem that it's more or less exactly the same look as the points jersey in the Giro and the leader's jersey in the Vuelta, plus tons of other classification jerseys. If a Lotto guy gets the red jersey then he won't even have to change...

I like it. The way the sponsors are printed in plain letters gives it a classic look. Plus the black shorts...great kit.

Exactly. It needs more of that white, for instance by letting that band run all the way around the chest. Additional advantage is the visibility of the sponsor in helicopter shots.

They may have to have an 'alternate' version for the Vuelta just as ONCE and Saunier Duval had for the Tour in the past. But minor griping aside, this is the hands down winner of "most improved".

The other positive thing to take from this is that I now anticipate each and every national champions' kit they get will be brilliant too, more than likely team shorts + a proper, old school jersey for each. In which case I hope they win eight of them.

In relation to the national champion kits, how come some former champions have their colours on their arms such as lotto, quickstep, sky, bmc etc and other former champions in teams like Saxo, Garmin, orica, movistar don't?

The problem with the Lotto kit is those bibs. I mean WTF? They don't blend at all? I'd really like to hear the reasons behind such a choice, it's really FUGLY. Improved my ***. (had they gone for a full retro style as with the font of the shirt it could've been awesome...now it's just plain LAME).

Yeah, the stylized letters on the bib and the colour don't really work with the rest... keep one or the other and you could pull it off. That said, the shot of Van der Sande sitting on the bike looks less weird than when he's standing with it. It'll probably look fine in the peloton.

And I definitely love the colour and font. Trendsetting, I hope.

Liking Lotto very much. Goes back to a more classic look and is different from the norm of current day jersey's. Plus keeps a bit of color in the peloton which is always good.

I love that Belkin/Bianchi frame. Not in terms of aesthetics, but if they incorporate the blue into the jerset aswell we'll have another ****-ugly, yet colorful team in the peloton. Lampre is there already.

I Think it works very well with the Green from Belkin and Celeste, it reminds me a lot about the bike and probably the clothing that Team Liquigas-Bianchi had in 2005-06.

It was the same during those years, "lime green and Celeste will NEVER work together"

IMHO I Think it worked out VERY well =)

FDJ. Pure win. What a classy, beautiful kit.

Lotto is decent, but the lack of a logo on back and the style of the bibs being completely at odds with that of the jersey is unfortunate. The kit that could have been if only it was considered a little more. At least it will be recognizable in the peloton.

Astana looks cheap. Airbrushing. Really?

Omega Pharma Quick Step is really quite drab and uninspired. The trend towards black on multiple teams really doesn't help the main purpose of kits in the peloton.

Vino 4-Ever! Quite possibly the best team name of all time.
