Just the mind playing tricks on you. Look at it sideways and you're much more likely to see a Belgian flag.

As far as I'm concerned, you need a very good reason to break the symmetry, and the design of the back of that jersey doesn't provide any.

Not really... The Belgian flag has yellow in the middle (shirt), the German flag has red in the middle (bibs). It's really bothering me somehow

I think Flamin is right. You have to tilt your head to the left to see it correctly. The band above the red is rather grey than black and seems to be the seam.
That being said, still an odd choice to start from the bottom and go up. Probably because the black band of the flag would have blended in with the rest of the bib and end up being invisible the other way around.

I thought it was the german flag at first, but having a second look means I can now see the colour there is part of the seam.

What's the thing with oversized company logos?

Imo, it's a stepback compared to last year. Tag Heuer's white on the sleeves doesn't fit well.

Yeah, it's horrible.

Who's getting paid to design that? It's just two white Tag Heuer stickers glued to the arms with no attempt made to make them fit with the rest of the jersey. Extremely amateurish.

Without the awful Tag Heuer sleeves, Van Avermaet's golden jersey would actually be really cool.

I hope these are the actual team jerseys because they look great. The national jerseys are quite OK too compare to some other horrible designs we have seen over the last few years.

Edit: BTW I'm not sure why they have the German and Czech national jersey as Greipel and Kreuziger are not on the team

I'm confused too.
There are 2 versions, a white and black in the upper left corner.
And IIRC they don't have the ITT world champion 2016 on the team either.

Plus the TT WC jersey, maybe they made some ultra secret signings.
