I find it unbelievable that they always choose to downplay the argyle, the one thing thing that helps them stand out and develop their own corporate image separate from their sponsors, and which makes them a tiny bit more like those teams from other sports that JV wants cycling to emulate.

They had an opportunity to come up with an abomination that would be remembered for years like Castorama, Carrera or Footon-Servetto but they squandered itAlexandre B. said:
Well, yeah, but how much are they really fighting for it when year after year, with completely different sponsors, the argyle motif becomes more and more irrelevant?Zinoviev Letter said:hrotha said:What the hell is that.

Exactly how much argyle they can use is presumably heavily influenced by the sponsors and how willing thevlatter are to have thatboattern superimposed over their corporate colours.
Agreed. They’ve almost totally removed the Slipstream argyle as well as dropping the Drapac red/ochre which are the two distinguishing marks of the naming sponsors. They also dropped the Drapac logo which had been around for years. I really don’t get it.hrotha said:Well, yeah, but how much are they really fighting for it when year after year, with completely different sponsors, the argyle motif becomes more and more irrelevant?Zinoviev Letter said:hrotha said:What the hell is that.
