Never looked at their clothing, checked out their site...$500 USD for a pair of bibs???!!! F**k all the way off with that bullsh!t. I'm a fan of Pidcock, but with their prices, I would think they could have lured Wout, Mathieu, Pog, Vingo, and Roglic, becasue surely they have the money to pay them, charging stupid prices like that.

EDIT: Plus, the name sounds like a US radio station. "Q36.5 Your home for CLASSIC ROCK!!!"

Maybe they're charging prices like that because they spent a lot of money luring Pidcock

Chicken and egg - maybe they have to settle for Pidcock cheap because nobody can afford to actually buy their kit LOL

Now I’m going to hear that (in low baritone announcer voice) every time! ;)

Depends on who’s spending—plenty of folks won’t blink. And perspective wise—the top line Descente shorts I bought in the late 80s ( which lasted like 10 years) were maybe $45 (? Can’t remember exactly) compared to the $1200 bike purchased around that time. Add a zero to each and that’s comparable to folks who buy $12,000 bikes paying $500 for bib shorts?

I like the jersey, I like the bibs, but JFC they do NOT work together...

The bibs were always a risky colour choice imo, more so when they European spring weather.

but is it just me or does the jersey looks less purple than it did originally ?

I thought it was a deep purple colour, which I liked, now it looks almost faded purple, which I don't.

Can't work out if it's just one of those colours that doesn't translate well on monitors, and all the smart photo app filters are making it look almost lavender now, or they're wearing such ultra thin jerseys due to the temps in Oz, the stretch wrecks the colour.

It definitely is a deep purple when you see it in person, and looks great IMO...very possible they're wearing lightweight jerseys in Oz though, which always look faded

Alpecin have outdone themselves and came out with an even more boring and bland kit than before.

Curses, I'm hearing the voice of the Cleveland rock station announcer in my head now - 100.7 WMMS, the home of the Buzzard! Or the L.A. rock station 100.6 KROQ - the ROQ!

Thank you Chewie, from now on I will always associate Q36.5 with a (possibly defunct) rock radio station!
