Got my new specs earlier this week and its taken me nearly 3 days to get comfy with them (the prescription not the fit). Dont remember it being that bad before - anyone else had this?

If you're talking about your very first pair of bi-focals (or even tri-focals) - I hear ya. Those can be freaky. If it's just a single-focal lens, you might want to get a second opinion on them if you're not seeing properly through them.

They seem to have settled in now - not 100%, more like 98% but so much better than when I posted. My prescription has changed quite heavily on my left eye so maybe that was it.
Also thanks for all the cheeky posts saying I might need bifocals / varifocals. I'm not that old - just 43!
