Got my new specs earlier this week and its taken me nearly 3 days to get comfy with them (the prescription not the fit). Dont remember it being that bad before - anyone else had this?

A quality optician should be able to adjust them right in the shop while you sit and test and give feedback. Where did you get them?

If you're talking about your very first pair of bi-focals (or even tri-focals) - I hear ya. Those can be freaky. And they will need to be fit properly.

If it's just a single-focal lens, you might want to get a second opinion on them if you're not seeing properly through them.

I would do this right away. Just happened to me and the second doctor's prescription was quite different and way better.

I had the same a while back, it almost seemed as though they'd reversed the lenses:confused: but I got used to it after about 5 days

Thanks all.

They seem to have settled in now - not 100%, more like 98% but so much better than when I posted. My prescription has changed quite heavily on my left eye so maybe that was it.

Also thanks for all the cheeky posts saying I might need bifocals / varifocals. I'm not that old - just 43!

I think you are right. It was the same for me, I guess if both eyes get a similar change it's easier to get used to it:)
