Author agrees, people in the comments agree, half this forum probably agrees, even Richie Porte agrees:
"I read somewhere that Froome was criticised for always reading his SRM but that’s just how he rides, with his head down. I train with the guy everyday and he’s forever just riding into you, but that’s just how he rides."

I recall at least twice during last year's Vuelta, after his team had set a pace in the mountains that spit him out the back, in his efforts to reel in his rivals, he veered into riders that he was riding past, prompting him to wave his hand apologetically. It had been stated here multiple times in the past (and I couldn't see how the point could be argued) that it can't be anything but dangerous to him and those around him that he spends so much time with his eyes downward instead of what is ahead and around him.

Froome goes to Astana bus, everybody wonders why Nibali apologizes to him

here is why

For those asking why the apology...Nibali through a bidon at Froome. A case of mistaken identity.

another piece of the puzzle portrait of the most ugliest doper in cycling, ever

Armstrong is a saint compared to Nibali

What is clear is that you are attempting to build Froome up by tearing Nibali down. It's pretty sad.

today's Nibali is the real Nibali , a mediocre but smart rider who got some GT wins beating nobody.

I would have no problem with that if he would be less cocky with "mother of imbecile" and "symbol of clean sport" stuff.

Who also caught an enormous break in the TDF, with ALL the other top riders in the race going down.

Like I said before, a fluke win, by a guy who will never win much again IMO.

 A true gentleman wouldn't be on the same team with a bunch of dopers. He was lucky to win last year....

He is in good shape, but you need luck in a GT, especially in le Tour.

C'mon, do you really believe this? Half his team were busted for doping, and he didn't know or do them himself? I find it highly unlikely he didn't dope.

I'm just about giving him the benefit of the doubt as there does seem to be a degree of segregation between the Kazakh side of the team where all the doping busts were and the Italian side of the team.
The Italian side of things at liquigas however was dirty as hell.

Personally, I find the idea that Astana were doping their domestiques but the tdf winner who was pushing epo outputs was clean, to be laughable.

That's my point as well. You gotta laugh at it though....

“No. No. I think that I threw it down on the ground because I was upset,” Nibali told VeloNews when asked this morning.

“I didn’t do anything. I was just upset.”

“Froome was there on my right. Oftentimes he is there close by, even giving elbows; it happened on the pavé stage, and we didn’t even speak about it afterwards,” Nibali. “My back hurts, my right leg and my backside.” Nibali conceded that he was upset and blamed Froome.

so to sum up Nibali didn't throw anything at Froome and he made the assumption that Dawg caused the crash, which seems fair.

How?

If someone crashes into you from the left and you then rams a guy to the right, is it logical to assume the guy on your right caused you to crash?

This! Thank you! I've been wondering this for a while now. Nibs wanted an excuse to lash out.

Not sure, but the posting style is resembling a previous member shortly before a meltdown IMO.

What Nibali is implying is that the way Froome rides put the other cyclists at risk. My guess is that this is a commonly held view in the peloton but that as long as Froome is top dog they will keep quiet and accept it.

I think what he is saying is that when there is a crash people assume Dawg cause it with his dangerous riding style. Makes perfect sense to me.

Okay, good on you, I thought you had run with your tail between your legs after this not substantiated accusation of yours.

I do agree on the bullying part, Nibali is the bully of the pelotoon, he makes Armstrong look like a choireboy.

I meant TDF wise...he's done. When it comes out in a few years that he was doping, he'll be a non winner.

Get back to us after Nibali intimidates witnesses, slurs them in the media and puts people out of business out of spite and we'll talk.
